Nearly a quarter of all U.S. home mortgages are under water {Daily Finance}

Nov 24th 2009 10:10AM You'd like to blame "this regime," but this was all started under the Bush adminsitration, and you know it. Sweeping the Bush problems under the rug and blamng them all on Obama, so that you can elect another Republican with the same policies as Bush is only going to run this country further into the ground. Why do you hate America so much?

Nearly a quarter of all U.S. home mortgages are under water {Daily Finance}

Nov 24th 2009 10:04AM I bought my 3/2 house for 165K in 2001. My mortgage is currently at 120K. Judging by comps in my neighborhood, I couldn't get 80K for it now. I just put a rental deposit on a 5/3 house in the my same neighborhood that was built and sold for 350K in 2005, and bought in August 2009 for 130K. My monthly rent will be less than my mortgage for a larger house in the same neighborhood. It will be years before my house reaches the value of my mortgage and years more before it reaches the value that I paid for it. I could spend 20 years in my house before I could hope to break even. I'm giving it back to the bank.

Erin Andrews Calls Naked Romp on Tape a 'Nightmare' {PopEater}

Sep 1st 2009 1:06PM I've seen the video (there are lots of places to download it from if you know how) and she ought to be suing the writer of the headline as well. The tape is not a "sex tape" and it does not show any kind of "romp." She's simply standing in front of a mirror, fixing her hair. She's shown mostly in profile, from a distance, through a very small peephole, which distorts the image as well. If she hadn't admitted it was her, nobody could have proved it was anything other than a resemblance. But no thinking person would describe the tape as a "romp," which implies she was engaged in some sort of sexual activity.

Best '60s TV Shows {Inside TV Blog}

Aug 26th 2009 9:38PM My personal favorite show of all time was the Andy Griffith Show, which made the Top 5 at least. The biggest oversight was Gilligan's Island. It wasn't great art by any means, but it was funny, and a lot better remembered than many of the shows on the list.

Hemingway Was a Failed Spy (for Russia!) {Asylum}

Hemingway Was a Failed Spy (for Russia!) {Asylum}

Jul 12th 2009 2:27PM The fact that didn't give the Russians anything, make it much more likely that Hemingway was working for the American side, and offering himself up as a double agent - make the Russians think he's working for them, and then feed info on their intelligence gathering to the Americans. Since this info comes from a Russian, he wouldn't know what was going on at Hemingway's end.
