Dec 20th 2011 12:23AM One racist act doesn't make another right. This is racism pure and simple. And yes, it's a two way street. Their are idiot, racist, blacks out there as well. In fairness they have a little more background in which to hold a grudge. You don't read much about the bus that the whites needed to sit in the back, or the band of black roaming around in sheets stringing up whites at a nearby tree, or the fountain we couldn't drink out of due to our color, we (yes, I'm a white guy) created this. However, the past is the past, nothing improves if both sides don't make the attempt to be fair.

It's a birthday party. No matter what your small minds may think everyone is entitled to some enjoyment in life. So his religion doesn't match yours, big deal. The guy has made some darn entertaining movies, he's good at what he does, don't let his success ruin your day. As for proper grammer, I understand your point, however this is an entertainment section, not mandatory college reading material. The death of proper grammer can be traced to texting and new technology. Little thinking, short cuts at every corner.

May 24th 2011 9:22PM Kristie has done great. Personally don't watch DWTS. Have kept an eye on the headlines only because of Kristie. She's led an interesting life. Her ability to battle on in the face of negativity is impressive. Hope she loses all the weight she wants. In the meantime she serves as an inspiration to many based not on weight loss, but the her attitude and drive. Hope she wins.

The master of family values all the while having a mistress on the side. You have to be pissed about those two. The "Hollyweirds" are actors and actresses. Their not pretending to set policies for our country. You've got to like a party like the Republicans, preach one thing, do another. Works well if you can get away with it. Before you start pointing fingers you might want look around at who's doing what.

Give Evangeline credit for not getting sucked into the high mighty life style. Perhaps she's not has famous as those you listed, but has been successful none-the-less. Apr 22nd 2011 12:31PM I agree with all you've said. Mel is no angel. however not as bad as he's made out to be. He's mortal like the rest of us. I have friend who was taken to the cleaners by a foreign wife. It was a 100% change in to two years. She was who she needed to be until which time she could be herself. Now she's set for life living off his money, kid, and she's not a good person. I went out with someone who was at least nice enough to tell me her goal was to marry for citizenship. She was willing to do pretty much anything for it. I wasn't. The temporary satisfaction didn't seem like a good trade for future headaches. Very pretty, but love has to count for something. Any way, Mel - like him as an actor. That's what I pay for. He won't be stopping by the house for dinner any time soon.
