Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Surprisingly Not Controversial {Fanhouse Backporch}

Feb 8th 2010 3:30PM The only thing miraculous about tebow would be if he called a number on the field other than his own. Kid plays like a high school kid trying to get noticed by a girl on the sideline.

Tim Tebow Super Bowl Ad Surprisingly Not Controversial {Fanhouse Backporch}

Feb 8th 2010 3:27PM who cares, who cares, who cares ??? Tebow is so overrated anyway, nobody really cares what he says or does. At least I don't. As far as I see it, the commercial was much like his play..sub-par. The only reason he may potentially be drafted this year at all is because his stats are padded due to the fact that he is a ball-hog/glory-hog. Watch one of his games, he calls his own number more times than the running back's. Atrocious. And I am supposed to care what he gets out there and says in a commercial?? Not. Ridiculous, really. He's not even a team player, much less a superstar, so why he would even have a commercial in the first place is boggling to the mind. There, I said it.

Uganda Seeking Miniskirt Ban to Reduce Traffic Accidents {Asylum}

Sep 19th 2008 1:54AM In muslim countries they make the women cover up, not because men would lose it as another commenter stated, but because they have a belief that the woman should remain "pure" and she would not be doing so if she didn't cover up. That's just the way it is. As for Uganda, it's not really the miniskirts that are the problem, it's the driving. They should mandate driver education and training in regards to how to deal with and minimize distraction. If there was a crossdresser going down the street wearing the shortest skirt the country had ever seen, there would probably be absolutely NO INTEREST, so logically you cannot say the problem is the skirts....it's the drivers. Enforce stronger traffic laws as they relate to distracted driving and the problem goes away.

14-Year-Old Removed From High School Football Team ... Because She's a Girl {Fanhouse Backporch}

Sep 1st 2008 1:25AM Hey, where can I get some pantyhose and a nice short skirt? If there gonna let a girl play football, then I might as well do something that sounds equally ridiculous. If and when she does get hurt, the parents and the coaches will all be yelling at the kid who hurt her, saying "why didn't you watch what you were doing???? You Knew she was a girl!!!!" That kind of double standard crap makes me wanna puke. So, in order not to hurt her, guys will pull back a little, and then the team she plays on has an unfair advantage because other teams won't be playing to their fullest potential against the girl's team. Any games they win by close margin just may in fact be due to the fact that the other guy didn't want to "hurt the girl". It's a bunch of crap. Women out there will be yelling at me how ridiculous it is for me to say that I will be wearing a skirt and be a cheerleader, calling it "making a mockery of women". But yet we HAVE to allow a girl to make a mockery of what has traditionally been a men's sport. Nonsense. Either start a girls' team or give HER the skirt. I don't really feel like shaving my legs all the way up today.

Survey says women patronized by pink tech {Engadget}

Sep 16th 2007 12:04AM Caitlin, pink is NEVER the primary feature that is used to market a product to be sold to women. Other things might be patronizing to women, such as saying "so simple, even my girlfriend could use it", or something like that which would be stupidity. But as for phones, I have NEVER heard a phone commercial on tv saying, "come buy this phone ladies....it's pink". Usually, you don't even know a specific phone is even available in pink until you get to the store and see it there. If using a color were a primary selling feature, that's like saying even though I am a guy I would have a closet full of orange skirts simply because I like orange. Nonsense. Get the facts before you post.

Survey says women patronized by pink tech {Engadget}

Sep 15th 2007 11:56PM Maybe, if every time a woman saw something in pink, she didn't say,"awww....that' sooo cute", then the color pink wouldn't be so closely associated with them. It might not even be considered a primarily feminine color. So, ladies, if you're going to cry "patronization" over the use of a color that you frequently refer to as "cute", and express affection for, then you brought it on yourselves.

Survey says women patronized by pink tech {Engadget}

Sep 15th 2007 11:37PM A color cannot by itself be patronizing...it's the actions of people that are. Give a woman a pink dress, pink shoes, a pink credit card, and put a diamond on her finger and she's all happy, but give her a pink phone and a diamond encrusted pink ipod and all of a sudden we're having this stupid conversation. Women out there.....get a life !!!

California to ban smoking in cars with kids {Autoblog}

Sep 2nd 2006 12:30AM Hey, Russ, i'm with you. One of the few posts here that's right on. Wanna move to Nevada? LOL. Keep the freedom, brother.

California to ban smoking in cars with kids {Autoblog}

Sep 2nd 2006 12:16AM Hey Nat, you must be a moron....you say it's all about not having the right to make decisions for someone else, but that's EXACTLY what the good old retarded stated of California does !!! Are you an idiot? Let's hear it for Nevada. I hereby openly and publicly declare my total unwillingness to EVER comply with the no smoking laws in any form, in any state, ever !!! This is all just bullcrap. It's the government telling us what to do. It's the left coast retards trying to tell the rest of the country what to do. Just because they wanna live like freaks, doesn't mean we have to. They eat "tofu" for crying out loud !! We tout ourselves as the greatest country in the free world. The American dream???? Gone. Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness???? Happiness for me is a cigarette after a meal, regardless of where it is, and if you tell me I can't have one, you're infringing upon my rights. Screw California. Let's hear it for Nevada. Let freedom ring.
