Will Bloody Texting PSA Get The Message To Teens? {ParentDish}

Aug 26th 2009 3:08AM So as a teenager, who used to text and drive, this ad really made me sick to my stomach. I lost 4 of my very best friends to an accident pretty much identical to this, and since then I have really become a more defensive and cautious driver. I wish that the teens would pay attention and use their brain. Like LS said, we think we're bulletproof, and it's soooo dumb that we think that!! I would like to say that I think my generation is probably the most reckless with our lives and others, not only with things such as drunk driving or texting while driving, but my biggest issue, casual unprotected sex. And ya we were flooded with videos about STDs and everything, but still 90% of the girls in my high school had at least one child before graduating. And I laughed at the guy who said it was "too gory". So you won't let them watch this possibly educating short video, but you'll let them watch R rated horror movies that are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY bloodier and graphic and just pointless. I think this ad should be aired as often as possible. Maybe it will save a life.
