Sep 17th 2009 8:53PM It's unbelieveable how misinformed people can be. The state of Florida does a lottery every year to give out permits to hunt alligators. They do this because the population of gators is getting to high. People are not allowed to hunt in sanctuaries only on private property. And anyone who's been within 15 feet of an 11' gator can tell you, that's close enough.How in the world can this be considered cruelty to animals? Oh, and by the way, 99% of these animals get eaten, and their skin becomes alligator bags and shoes. Thank You
