Mar 24th 2010 2:50PM We do not need a new health care system. What we need is for the government to do what it was designed to do, Regulate. Make the insurance companies offer group rates to coop's of like individuals(farmers, small business groups, musicians, fininacial analysts, lawyers...etc) just like big corporations get. Then the regular guy(gal) can join a coop and get reasonable health care they can afford. But, the insurance companies don't want this, because then they have to bargan with these groups over coverage schedules and rates....instead they want only to deal with the USG whom they can buy off easly....

Mr. Mayer was asked a professional question and his answer was obvious to anyone in the music industry as to his meaning. Problem is most people don't have a clue about what they were talkin about let alone the blues music.... John has talent galore. you all are just jelous. At least he's not making CRAP music, oops sorry I meant RAP music...forgot to take off the C.... I will lay money that not one of the people who attacked John's musical abilities can play anything other than a stereo....oh, and their mouth.... So, stfu. Dec 11th 2009 12:30PM Bottom line. Its a Business Problem. Operating costs are affected by weight period. Weigh more pay more. Whats wrong with that. Happens when I ship packages. Oversized, Loud, Anoying, and Smelly pasengers should not be allowed to degrade the quality of service the other passengers have paid good money for....I'm over 6ft tall and am boarder line comfortable in coach, I'd love to see more leg room. This is a consumer rights issue, and its the right is to receive what you pay for, not the right to get more or less than you payed for. As consumers, we are the boss.

This really is an Ariline Problem. Some airrlines understand this fact, others don't. I'm 6'1 at 180 lbs, and what AA has done to their Seating (TooTight)and Service(very impersonal even rude) is so uncomfortable that I'm doing business (300Kmi/yr) elsewhere, despite upgrades, because you can't always depend on getting to use your upgrades, let alone reedeming your miles. Basicly service at most arilines is a Joke.

Sep 8th 2009 9:52PM Your absolutely correct. There was nothing wrong with picking up this child on horseback, providing there is not a city ordnance prohibiting such an activity. Much safer than an automobile.
I wonder how many children are transported to and from school everyday via MOTORCYCLE, or AIRCRAFT (Washington or Alaska), without altercation or intervention from school officials.

Obviously this principal is on a power trip and very ignorant of alternative methods and views, other than her own. Should be suspended until the school boards PUBLIC review.

I do wonder if this incident was not an extension of tension resulting from previous confrontation between the Mother and the Principal....?

In any event, just another example of how our freedoms are being striped away without real representation, by a government that feels compelled to intervene beyond its constitutional intent. Pretty soon we won't have a say so in our children’s lives except to fund them...Tell your congressman that this type of meddling must stop NOW! The schools are and have been a proving ground for testing the boundaries of constitutional law, it won't stop here. What’s next can't punish a disobedient child? children encouraged to report civil disobedient parents activities...

However the messages sent to by his lifestyle, magazine have done more damage than can be described here. Women are portrayed as objects not people, responsibility is something other people have to deal with, and self is the God to be worshiped. All in the name of freedom of speech. I for one am not buying this bucket of white wash. Hefner is no Martin Luther King. Not even by the wildest stretch of the imagination.
