Aug 6th 2010 2:14PM I have had short hair more often in my life than not. I found that the guys that felt the length of my hair was of all that much importance were too shallow for my liking anyway...I understand preferring long hair on a female, as I prefer short hair on a guy, but if a person is otherwise attractive to you being caught up on one detail like that is ridiculous.
But really I think it comes down to what you feel confident with, if cutting off your hair is some how going to leave you feeling insecure than it's not worth it.
I also worked as a hairstylist for 4 years though and cut off a lot of hair in my day, and never once had a woman regret going short. Half the time they'd go kind of short and than end up wanting to go even shorter. It always seemed to be a liberating experience. Many than grew their hair back out, but always where happy they had let them self have the experience.
In the end though it's just hair. It grows back, and if it doesn't you can buy some.

Do You Secretly Hate Getting Flowers? {Lemondrop}

Jul 15th 2010 9:36PM I have always hated the idea of flowers as a gift. I find the message of a gift that dies in a week odd.
But I also hate the ideas of jewelery and candies, and most traditional 'gift for women' fare.
I appreciate a more quirky or individualized gift.
Of course if a women loves flowers or candy or jewelery, than maybe for them that type of gift is special.
For me I just hate the idea that ALL women like certain things. Gifts should just suit the person.
