Jackson Fires Back at Stern's Comments on Criticism of Referees {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Apr 29th 2010 12:07AM I agree with iiijfuller's comment : Let the coaches speak out a little bit on the refs calls without fining them $35,000! Save that fine for when the coaches go out of control! Keep on trucking Phil and Van Gundy, there are times the fans want to see you say a little something to the refs!
Howard Fined for Blogging About Refs {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
Apr 28th 2010 11:55PM TJS...Howard should have fouled out in the first quarter of which Magic vs Bobcat game? Howard is a great defensive player. Maybe you just are shooting your mouth off and don't really know much about Dwight Howard.It is one thing to say whether or not the refs are being fair in calling fouls on him, but to say he is NOT a great defensive player does not even make sense!

Apr 28th 2010 11:47PM Guess you were watching the same Magic games I was and seeing Dwight get hit again and again first by some Bobcat player and all Dwight had to do was try to untangle himself from the mess and the refs would call a foul on Dwight. The Bobcats did play some pretty good games though. Hope the Magic go on and win the entire thing. Howard is just an all around nice player.

Apr 28th 2010 11:33PM Dwight is being mugged by many and all he has to do is barely move his arm after being hit multiple times first and then the refs call the foul on Dwight. Dark Alley Demon are you even watching any of the Magic games?
CARD Act: New credit card rules and regulations you need to know {WalletPop}
Feb 23rd 2010 12:46AM It should be "applies" not "applys" Blue Dog , so you might think about losing your "Duh". Think most people have the sense to figure out it would be best to pay off their credit card bill every month if they could. Now maybe you should run throw some rocks in your glass house!
Banks cut overdraft fees in attempt to halt new regulation {Daily Finance}
Sep 24th 2009 12:19AM You must live a very charmed life and are very fortunate. Many good people though work very hard and barely make it from paycheck to paycheck. Sometimes they are not as perfect as you are and overdraw their account by 20 cents and just hate to be charged $35.00 overdraft fee.Many times they get the few bucks in the bank the next day to cover the overdrawn 20 cents. May you continue to lead your charmed life, but every once in awhile think of those who may work hard and try to make it each month,yet sometimes they might just miss by pennies. Easy for someone who makes plenty of money to say, check your account each day, keep enough money in the bank and you won't ever have an overdraft fee! Well poor people do have brains and are sometimes happier than rich people and many times they are more forgiving than rich people!
Dwight Howard Close to Suspension {Fanhouse NBA Blog}
May 27th 2009 2:42AM IF the NBA doesn't review this technical foul of Howard's and erase it, Technical foul # 6 on Howard will be considered a farce in my eyes and many others. Howard puts his arms in the air, glares for .2 a second and then quietly walks away after being mugged and THAT is a technical! Meanwhile as the game goes on..many other players throw much more major tantrums (go ahead watch the films), and nothing is called. To me if the refs are not about to evenly call the Technical fouls, than the NBA needs to have a word with them and also straighten things out when they can(ie, erasing Howard's 6th technical). It is hard to watch a game that the refs are either trying to slant in favor of the Cavs(for a hopeful match-up with the Lakers) or the are just plain unevenly sucking the marrow out of the bones of the game! Go Magic/Go Nuggets,,just in case there is a upper office "try not to make it too obvious " ,bring in the most money , Cavs vs Lakers slant going on here. Lebron is a great player, but some refs need to start calling him for lowering his shoulder often as he crashes in for his shots. Watch films...he does it often! One of the last plays of regulation time during the Magic game Tuesday night, he was lowering his shoulder so much that he pitched forwarded,fell over his own feet,into a Magic player and of course the Magic player was called for the foul(again watch the films).Happen to know refs can't be perfect , but call most of the fouls that are just plain being committed by Lebron and also sometimes by Kobe! Just because they are great doesn't mean they are not lowering their shoulders, traveling or charging!

Aug 16th 2008 12:36AM Actions speak louder than words. In a split second, Dara calmly stopped all the action in order for a fellow swimmer to be given her hard-earned chance to swim a race she had trained hard to win. Nice gesture by a true champion!
SEC Tournament Interrupted by Tornado {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
Mar 15th 2008 12:34AM Mark Gottfried did a great job coaching a good Alabama team during the Florida game and also tonight during the Mississippi State game. When he talked to the announcer after the tornado hit the Atlanta Dome, he said all the correct things first and then talked about finishing the game in OT and winning the game(safety of loved ones of course coming first). All the players can be proud and Congrats to Mississippi State.
Roll Tide and Thanks Mark Gottfried for two great SEC tournament games!

SEC Tournament Interrupted by Tornado {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}
Mar 15th 2008 12:11AM Alabama's coach, Mark Gottfried stated the most important thing about this whole exciting game was the fact that no one was hurt inside the Georgia Dome from the tornado that was hitting Atlanta as Alabama and Mississippi State were playing in overtime. Would have loved to have seen Alabama win the game. It was a pleasure to listen to Mark speaking to the announcer and stressing the safety of the players,their family and his family and at the same time thanking Georgia Dome security for helping in the initial panic. I was very proud of all Alabama's players and their coach. If Mykal Riley had not made his wonderful 3 pointer that sent the game to overtime, many people might have been leaving the Dome and have been outside right as the tornado hit! The plays that Mark Gottfried made in overtime switching Bama's smaller faster players in and out was great and I think he did a great job coaching. Mykal Riley, Richard Hendrix and Gee played great games against Florida and Mississippi State. Congrats to Mississippi State!
