Do me a favor and tell everyone you know not to stay at any Whitten Inn's in New Mexico South Carolina, Texas, and Oklahoma. This boycott has worked in our community but we need for the other motels to loose as well.

Oct 21st 2009 10:37PM A person like Larry Whitten will never make it for mayor let alone President. Racism is very wrong. No one has the right to change a persons name to put money in their pocket. Lets say that I am a rich hispanic woman that owns a chain of motels. I have been ordering employees to change their names to sound more hispanic and want them to speak spanish. I know that you would not like it one bit. you would boycott me the same day and try to shut me down. New Mexico is very cultural and we plan to keep it that way.

If you send the message out to all of your friends and families about the discrimination that Whitten imposed to the employees that have worked there for at least 24 years, we can put this guy out.Racism is wrong any time any place.
