I wont lie I got in trouble with the police when I was a teen and they treated me nice but all I did was lie and blame somebody that had nothing to do with it to keep me and my buddys out of jail. If I was in this guys shoes I would lie. But had I been tortured to the point where I thought I was going to die when I had gotten into trouble as a teen I think the outcome would have been far different and dont think I would have lied.

Dec 20th 2009 9:24AM Its Kinda hard to clean out the snake pit when the people you voted in to do it are the snakes. And you say we are domestic terrorists because why? Because I disagree with this bill and most of what and the direction this Administrstion is taking the country? I'm sorry I dont feel its in anyones best interest except big insurance to be required to purchase insurance whether I can afford it or not. So What you think that the for profit insurance companys are even going to try to charge fair rates when all Americans Have to buy insurance from them? I think not. Yes they wont be able to turn someone down for coverage because they are a high risk due to pre-existing conditions but what are they going to charge them for that coverage? Look at the Auto insurance industry you are required to have insurance if you drive and if you are a high risk you go into a pool where they charge you extremely high rates for coverage, do you think heath insurers are going to be any different? They are for profit companys that have to answer to a board of directors and to their stock holders. Without Price controls in place they can charge what they want and we have to pay. We are all screwed except big insurance and thier stock holders. And if we dont pay then what? they fine us? and if we cant pay the fine what they seize our homes or belongings? These people are the domestic terrorists not us. All I got to say to you is this what do you think is going to happen when people start being taxed above and beyond what is right companys start to layoff more workers and manufacturing moves more plants overseas to save heathcare costs and due to the cap and trade bill that is a real job killer? Isnt these some of the reasons for the revolutionary war? Just remember those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

The working class as slowly drifted down to just being the servants of the wealthy. Before long even Mexican citizens will not be drawn to this once great nation because unless things change here and we can get politicans that actually understand that they work for us and the enormous responsibilty that holds we will be just like Mexico. Unfortunately just like in Mexico if you want to get rich get into politics. And the prison he's in I will bet isnt like the one they would send the average joe to, it probably has two tennis courts and a swimming pool.

The gay and lesbian alliance had a counselor at my daughter's school last year to console gay students and help them with the problems that they were facing, however they would tell students that told them they weren't sure if they were gay if they were hetro they wouldnt be confused so they really were gay and they had to accept that. Well we and alot of other parents after finding out about this railroaded them out of our school. How dare they come into schools and try to indoctrinate young children. I am a vet joined the navy fresh out of high school to be able to have money to go to college since my family is not rich nor lazy but hard working blue collar folk. Graduated with a 4.0 average bachelor's of science degree in Aviation. I have been working for the same company for 20 years been layed off since May of 09. I have been applying for work daily the low paying jobs dont consider me been told your a pilot why are you applying here ? I'm sure the reason that I cant even get a job at Walmart but my 21 year old neibors son did is that they assume that soon as a flying position is offered I will be gone. As for flying positions there is alot of competion. They wont consider me for a first officers positon because they dont think I would be happy since I have been a captain. My wife has MS so our heath costs are extremely high, and yes she still does work but not making anything near what I was. The problem is that this ignorant f**k we have in office gave all the money to big banks and wallstreet with no strings attached so they do what any corporate exec would do pay themselves big bonuses and pay increases first. Heck even congree voted themselves a raise and payed there employees and themselves bonuses. I'm not asking for much I dont want a handout just a job when my unemployment runs out I to am going to probably lose my home and 100k in equity. Bank wont refinace or provide any assitance since I fell a month behind a month ago after my saving's ran out . They are not willing to work with me at all I'm sure they are licking there chops waiting for use to default. If you were to lose you job dumbass you could easily find yourself in my shoes. George is right if they had concentrated on main street and to hell with AIG and some of these others that just payed themselves and did nothing what the money was intended for we would have started to come out fo this recession by now. its the average consumer that drives the highest percentage of this economy. the trickle down policy didnt work this time when all the money supposedly infused in the economy to stop collapse was mainly invested overseas not on main street. Yes the weathy are not evil and do create the most jobs but unfortunately overseas and not here. Money is not evil but unfortunately the people managing it lately seem to be. I have never had the liberal mindset of government handouts or the gimme,gimme attitude but it really pisses me off when I see my hard earned tax dollars being used in the manner it has been. A year before my company decided to sell their coporate jets an layoff about half of thir employees nobody got a christmas bonus nor did I expect one so how in anyones mind cant some of these finacial institutions that begged for hand outs because without them they would fail think its okay to get bonuses and increases in pay? and not just a couple of 100k but millions. I wish I could just get 80k to payoff my mortgage and allow us to keep our home. the government home mortgage refinacing plan would really releive the burden on use and help bunches but without almost perfect credit and a job its unavailiable to me. You think thats right? I mean after all part of that bailout is my money. And about my internet conection how do you expect me to do an effective job search? And yes I do have to pay for my cell phone and internet connection. Your screen name says it all you sound like somebody that got part of the bailout money, because you dont seem to have a with your tax dollars being used for bonuses to execs that drove their companys into the ground and then came whining to congress. Your right weath does come from hard work but alot of the money went to people whose idea of hard work is sucking as much money out of their companys before they drove them under then cry to the Gov so they can suck even more money out of the taxpayers pocket.
