Empire Readers Name 'Batman and Robin' Worst Movie Ever {Moviefone Blog}
Feb 5th 2010 1:12AM How did anything by Woody Allen escape this list? Few were worse than "Annie Hall" or almost all his other flicks.
Readers sound off about Dollar Store savings and duds {WalletPop}
Jan 31st 2010 7:52PM Hey, you dopes -- all dollar store stuff, and most K Mart stuff, is imported from Communist China. You "bargain hunters" are directly responsible for the condition of the economy. You may have to pay a bit more for American quality, but dammit -- it's worth it in the long run. You not only get a better product, but a healthier country.
Former Stones Guitarist Brian Jones' Death Being Re-Examined {Spinner}
Sep 1st 2009 2:38PM To all the jerks who post non-related comments: go away. Now, more to the point: Brian deserves justice, and though I don't expect anything "new" will turn up, I've no doubt that he was murdered. The Stones haven't had a thing to say, musically, since Brian died.

Unbelievably Massive Rat Caught in China {Asylum}
Feb 23rd 2009 2:23PM Shee-yit, we had rats nearly that big in Detroit.
Greed returns to Wall Street -- Merrill Lynch CEO wants his bonus (update) {BloggingStocks}
Dec 8th 2008 3:28PM This is a perfect example of capitalism at work; and a perfect example of why capitalism is collapsing, all over the world. We have returned to the bad old days of the "robber barons," who ruled the nation with personal greed. Everyone snickered a bit and said "I told you so!" when Communism collapsed, virtually overnight; but it isn't so funny now, when "our" system is collapsing, just as they told us it would! Is there an answer? Yes. The perfect balance between social order and personal freedom is actually FASCISM, which has nothing to do with racism or police states. Don't take my word for it -- read "The New Fascism, An Idea Whose Time Has Come," available on Lulu.com. It's time to stop the madness -- the constant wars of conquest for oil -- and start with a "clean sheet of paper." Sir Oswald Mosley was right all along, and if you don't know who he was, then check out the Friends of Oswald Mosley site. "The war on want is the war we want!"
Supernatural Belief Reflects Normal Brain Activity {Asylum}
Nov 11th 2008 3:23PM These guys are complete jerks. A belief in forces beyond the physical does NOT reflect "an inability to think scientifically" nor does it mean your thought-processes have been hijacked by suggestibility. I'm not a religious type, but let me ask you this: do you believe in God? If you answered "yes," you just shot down this idiot's whole argument. There really is more to this universe than meets the eye -- "ghosts" are but one example, and quite real. I've had Christians tell me that angels are real, too, based on personal experience -- and I'm not about to deny them their views, simply because they don't match my own. Check out (on-line) the Grey School of Wizardry for a more in-depth and far more enlightened view. No, it's not about razzle-dazzle miracles; "wizard" is an old term that meant simply, "wise one." See for yourself. Dare to think.
Asylum's Top 10 Occupations Inaccurately Associated With Sexiness {Asylum}
Feb 8th 2008 10:50AM I confess! I had the most beautiful teacher in the tenth grade (which for me was 1967.) No, she didn't look like one of these painted-up "adult film stars," and she wasn't built like Raquel Welch, but she was absolutely fascinating, with a beauty all her own. Ah, if only I had been really paying more attention in class! Maybe, just maybe .... oh well, she was married at the time anyway. A tip of the journalist's pen to Jeri Lynn, wherever she is.
Who Faked Story about Cardboard in Chinese Rolls? The Reporter or the Government? {Gadling}
Jul 28th 2007 9:37AM Jamie K, absolutely right. These ideas, plus the notion that all Americans should be able to get good medical care, form the core-essence of Fascism, which is not the two-dimensional boogeyman the media would have you believe. (No racism, no Nazis.) The story about China is probably true -- and things aren't much better here. What's the allowable percentage of insect and rodent parts in YOUR food? Yes, such stats DO exust, but you can bet they're not on the labels!

Electric Vehicles in Depth, Part II: NmG, An EV for the Rest of Us {Autoblog Green}
Sep 20th 2006 9:45PM I took a look at the "Tesla" site mentioned earlier, and while I see a swoopy, sorta-Pontiac design, and read lots of great promo material, I couldn't see a price listing. And though they claim to have sold out their first 100, all I found in the "buy" section was a list of proposed locations, vague ones at that, "coming soon." Am I the only one that thinks this sounds a little too good to be true? If anyone out there actually owns a Tesla, let me know at tyrssen@aol.com, thanks.
