May 25th 2011 10:03PM Hello, My cat Belair is a sweet lovable cat.I adopted him from the humane society in my state last year.On Thursday last week he saw a sliding glass door that was accidently left open,and he ran out.He was missing for 4 days,I had many people searching with me.Then on Sunday evening he showed up at the sliding glass door on his own.Here's the topic that I am writing about.
He meows all the time now.He was neutered at the animal shelter before I adopted him.So,that is not the problem.He is not a outdoor cat,so ..not the problem.Also,he is so very attached to me now that he has to be in the room with me all the time.Before he was lost for those days he was not so vocal.He was actually very quiet.And he also did not follow me around the house all the time like he does now.It is like he is a human baby that wants mommy to always be near,and hold him when he wants it.
Why is he like this now? And what can I do about it.I need to go in rooms that I prefer he stay out of.So I shut the door.I do live with other people in my house,but he wants me near.I cannot just sit all the time to keep him happy.

Any answers about this would be great.

people who prey upon children...pedophiles. We have all heard that word before. And they are in even the best of neighborhoods. You need to be very careful with children outside. All the things we already know. Don't talk to strangers. Avoid unpopulated areas. Always carry your cell phone,in case of emergencies when out in the public with your child. I could go on more,but parents know the dangers.
Never ever leave your child alone in the bathtub. Accidents happen. So be aware of a child in the tub,and stay with them. Keep children safe. They are precious.
