Smells Like Spring: Enter Our Nootie Giveaway! {Pawnation OLD}

Apr 1st 2010 10:33AM Hi everyone and good luck! Baby gets a bath every 10 days. He is a chocolate Pom and his hair is, of course, long esp. in the hindquarters! Things tend to get "stuck" there. He hates his bath, but loves running crazily thru the house after! he also loves his frequent brushings! I currently use a common dog shampoo with Suave conditioner (Vanilla) after to ease the brushing and leave him smelling good. a dog shampoo would most likely be much better than using a human product on my Baby.

Angelina 'Must Be a Saint,' Say Bicycle-Receiving Namibian Kids {PopEater}

Aug 22nd 2009 7:48AM "...living in adultry and not Christians?" Chardanu, you have no way of knowing the spiritual state of Jolie or Pitt's souls. You are not God. Only God knows where Jolie and Pitt will spend eternity. We are told not to judge others and I, for one, wouldn't think of saying that someone I have never met is not a Christian. As for the bikes, they were wonderful gifts however I do wonder what brand of bicycle would be so expensive that only 72 of them would cost $10,000. I can only say that I could find 72 brand new bicycles for much less than 10 grand and the rest of that money could have gone for food, medicines, clothing, shelter or to benefit the schools. It is wonderful to give and Jolie is blessed to be able to afford to give so much. We can all give to charity, every amount counts no matter how much or how little. Time given can be as valuable as money. God Bless!

Love of lotteries used to encourage savings {WalletPop}

Jul 21st 2009 10:18PM Reba, our country does not owe the blacks anything. Slavery is a dead issue - a horrible but true part of our history. Your mothers were not raped, slavery was abolished by the time your mothers were born. Blacks have every freedom, opportunity, and access to resources that Whites have. So do the many other races that have chosen this great country to live in. Pay you?? Just what did you build in this country? That's like me asking to be paid because my ancestors came over from Ireland and Europe and helped build this country. African Americans? What should I call myself? An Irish American? I think you should get over the race issue (that's another dead horse that everyone needs to stop beating) and call yourself the same thing I call myself - an American! As for being "mixed", we are all mixed. Welcome to the 21st century. History - it happened. Learn from it and don't let the same mistakes happen again. No one alive today had anything to do with it. Oh, slavery began in Africa, btw, with Blacks selling other Blacks. The rich exploiting the poor. Very common with rich people who let greed and the love of money rule them. History - learn from it!
A Yankee whos family never owned slaves. God Bless you, and us all! God Bless America!

Man Uses Steak Knife to Perform Tracheotomy -- On Himself {Asylum}

May 9th 2008 8:12PM I don't think you read and retained the entire article, Max. The gentleman is a throat cancer survivor and he had a pre-existing condition which caused his airway to swell up stopping the flow of oxygen to his lungs. That said, he most likely has had a trach before and had prior experience with the procedure. The fact that he was able to think coherently (don't think I would have been) and to perform a trach on himself is amazing. He saved his own life, most likely from knowledge gained given his medical history.

No Swimming in this $82,000 Golden Swimsuit {Luxist}

Jul 8th 2007 9:12PM The gown and the swimsuit are beautiful, but if one knows where (and how) to shop knock offs can be found for a fraction of those prices! We each spend our money as we please, rich or poor. The rich can afford more than someone like me, of course, and that is their privilege. I hope they have charities that they choose to share with, also. I do, however, agree with jabeehler (#4). As for Shaquanda (#1), this blog is about the clothing being modeled, not the women modeling. I am white, and resent your remark about "pale bag of bones" as most models are thin - black, yellow, red, or white. It is time to get over the color issue, don't you think? It's a small planet, can't we share it as human beings, which we all are? Perhaps you are feeling a bit insecure about being black. I wouldn't feel insecure about my race, however if I couldn't spell the word "sister" properly I would most certainly feel insecure about publicy posting anything that would show off my semi-literacy!

The World's Most Expensive Lipstick and Mascara {Luxist}

Sep 26th 2006 11:04PM My roof leaks, I have no gutters, no underskirting for my mobile home, rotting wood trim on outside of trailer,carpet & padding are original and there for totally shot...I buy food only on sale & with coupons, can barely afford meds, and am dis-abled. The wealthy should help people, not be obnoxiously wasteful..I love diamonds, too, and if I had any they would be in jewelry form! I'll thankfully accept some of that money that these rich people WASTE!!!
