Oct 22nd 2008 1:30PM Perhaps you don't know how long he endured the torture(5 1/2 years) and that he gave up opportunity for freedom so another could be set free instead. He also was a great encourager and leader for those around him. Perhaps you should read up on some of what he did before you judge him... wrongly. Or are you black and just too prejudice to see what a real American hero is like because he happens to be white.

Ted Turner... she has never really apologized to those that served her country and she betrayed in North Vietnam... nor has John Kerry for that matter... yet liberal America accepts her... this would be actress that never really learned how to act... so why is she in the news???... mystifies me... just like John Edwards... whom would vote for a man to be President that knows little or nothing about anything but a court room where he sues hard working folks so that he... and his client... but mostly he... can take their money... it's the American way... God help us all... but then we have taken God and put him in the closet so that Gays and Hanoi Jane... can have their way...

Sep 29th 2006 2:58PM If journalism is done without bias to start with, there is not a need to label anything. There are those that say such journalism is always biased, well I guess if we are politically driven, yes it is. Personally, most journalism appears to be very liberal based and biased to the Democratic(extreme left) point of view because most journalistic Universities are extremely liberal. Guess it goes back to hiring and the editor and can they rise above all this and be unbiased. From the looks of things these days, we have a bunch of children in the Senior editor positions of most of our major news medias. Grow up ladies and gentlemen and think about someone else other then yourselves.
