A New Diagnosis for Cheaters? The Personality Type That Strays {Lemondrop}

Nov 27th 2010 9:33AM Is that you, mom? :) Seriously, sounds just like my parent's marriage, timeline and all. My mother is single, and my father re-married, but you can guess who's happier.

The Mommy Diaries: Hiring a Nanny Is Hell, Too {Politics Daily}

Feb 15th 2010 11:40AM Until you are a childcare provider, you have no idea what we see day to day. I worked at a daycare center for two years and after I left, had two parents 'follow me' to my home to watch their children there. I have seen many parents that will drop their child off at seven in the morning and not return until nearly 6. For a workday, of course, this is normal and acceptable-albeit sad. But, I understand, as a mother myself, that times are hard and people have to work. However, I watch the children just as much when the parents have the day off. I fully understand you are paying me on a weekly basis to watch your child, and I will always continue to do so. It's just astonishes me that these women don't take the day to spend with their child. I too used a daycare service for my son when I was in school and he was never there on my day off. In my opinion, you cannot get the time back with your child and I don't understand choosing to be without them. But, as I stated before, your payment and my work ethic dictate that I will be here as needed. If you are a parent, please respect your babysitters! We do not earn much, and as previously mentioned by another poster, we enjoy holidays just like you do, so please grant them to us! Good luck to all. Enjoy your babies while they'll still let you.

2010 Wedding Trends We Predict You'll Hate {Lemondrop}

Jan 16th 2010 10:16AM Totally agree. I've seen several people do this, even a bridesmaid! A wedding I attended last year was all white as the color scheme. The bridesmaids were told they could pick their dress, just something white. You'd think everyone would choose a simple white cocktail dress or something of the like. Nope, one bridesmaid bought a frickin' wedding dress! I couldn't believe it, nor could anyone else.

Electric Snuggie the 'Toasty' Coming Our Way {Stylelist}

Jan 13th 2010 11:36AM I got a snuggie for Christmas from a distant relative. It's going to be my white elephant gift for next year. What a load of crap, a snuggie is! Why do I need to wear my blanket, let alone plug it in? I've read other comments and have to agree: It's just an oversized bathroom robe.

Fast food chains being sued over grilled chicken patties {BloggingStocks}

Sep 30th 2006 9:21AM Oh Amanda, poor sweet sweet Amanda. When there is a scientific research conducted that finds pain receptors in fruits and vegetables as well, then I too will wait for them to "die of natural causes"..Oh boy...
