Mar 12th 2010 2:00PM I am looking over some of the names here and find myself wondering what some of the parents were thinking. Allow me to add in my two cents, please.

Someone mentioned Shithead (pronounced Sha-hid, I think). I heard of one who pronounced his name Shi-thed and spelled it the same way.

And what about the racecar driver by the name of Dick Trickle, or the former Providence basketball player God Shamgod.

I think too that one should be careful about matching names with celeberties if possible. I mean honestly I can say that I went to school with John F. Kennedy and David Brinkley and to church with Bruce Willis.

But it's these same people that criticize the media for broadcasting church services suggesting that it should not be aired. To me, what is good for one should be good for the other. Nov 28th 2008 1:57PM This is a bunch of crap. The left preaches tolerance. I guess that means to be tolerant of those who agree with them. Those of us who disagree with them now must either keep quiet or risk the same persecution as Raddon. They preach that I can believe but not impose, but yet their beliefs are imposed on me. They preach separation of church and state and claim it to be in the Constitution. Well, I have a minor in political science and a degree in law, and I am about half way through a master's degree in public affairs. I have read the Constitution many times. I challenge anyone to show me those exact words. You can't do it. Why? They are not there. The words are used as a misunderstood interpretation of something that Thomas Jefferson said. They were used in a letter, not in any legal document. No, the fact of the matter is that we all have the freedom to believe what we choose without shutting each other up. If that means that I contribute money to a cause that I believe in, then that is my right and it is Raddon's as well. Get over it.

Oct 1st 2006 10:17PM Take it from a Titans fan, what Haynesworth did was uncalled for. Granted the Titans are not good and are winless thusfar. I know that this is frustrating to them. Perhaps even Haynesworth was greatly frustrated. Be that as it may, there is no excuse for intentionally hurting a fellow player. He would not play another down for me if I were the coach.
