Opinion: Adoptive Mother Should Be Sent to the Gulag {ParentDish}

Apr 12th 2010 5:34PM In my opinion, this was a single, 33 year old woman who clearly did not research adoption. My belief is that she wanted to do a noble thing (possibly for selfish reasons-to show how "good a person" she is) but when the child interferred with her lifestyle she changed her mind, and did not try to get help for this young boy. She should be charged with child endangerrment. Where is her sense of personal responsibility?

Sarah Palin Plagiarizes Newt Gingrich? {Politics Daily}

Jun 8th 2009 8:33PM Sarah Palin is not the only one who plagerizes. Has anyone seen tapes of Obama parroting George Bush?

The Biggest Corporate Egos Ever? {Asylum}

Jan 22nd 2008 4:45PM Please add the Clintons. The people you listed have worked hard, made money on their own. The Clintons only do things to further themselves and their hunger for power. Who has the last laugh- ammy Wynette. Hillary lied-she said she would never be a "Stand By Her Man" woman. I suppose we all should grovel when we are so publicly humiliated.

Is your public school free? {ParentDish}

Oct 2nd 2006 2:29PM When I was a student in High School, a book rental fee was paid. Upon the return of the books at the end of the year, the fee was returned. Needless to say, my brothers and sisters and myself, were careful with the
SCHOOL'S propery, as it was not ours. The basic tenent we were taught, it it does not belong to you, take care of it. If it is lost, replace it. That is a person's basic responsiblity with items that do not beong to him/her.

Being poor or a single mother does not automatically exempt a person from responsibility for property thatis not their's. Rental property, e.g.

The word here is personal responsibility.
