Feds Consider Limiting Potatoes Offered to Kids {ParentDish}

Oct 21st 2010 3:29AM I agree with Foodie. When I went to school, we had real food, served on ceramic plates, with real silverware. We also had gym class every day and played outside. It was nothing to me to ride my bike 5 or 10 miles a day. I lived in a small town and I rode my bike everywhere. In the summer the only thing that kept me out of the pool was lightning. We never played inside unless the weather was bad. If people would get their kids off their butts instead of playing video games all the time, it sure would help. Banning a food because it's fattening is rediculous. We as people need to take some responsability for our own actions and in our own lives. It's as easy as that.

Scare Tactics {MyDaily}

Sep 19th 2010 12:17PM I'm glad the man did what he did. I don't think he should have been arrested. Those kids need to learn not to treat others that are different that way. How would they like it if it was the other way around. Believe me, they wouldn't. I feel it's the parents fault for not teaching their kids to respect others. The parents are probably just as bad.

News Roundup: Oprah Picks Jonathan Franzen for Her Book Club, J.J. Abrams' Second New Pilot Gets Picked Up and More {AOL TV}

Sep 19th 2010 11:52AM Yes, Oprah does do humanitarian work, but not because she is humanitarian. I think she does it bacause it makes her look good. I agree with what someone else said. If she was truly trying to do good, she would just quietly do it and not publicize every move she makes. I also think she's racist and truly doesn't care about anybody but herself.

Lady Gaga to Senate: 'Repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell'' {PopEater}

Sep 17th 2010 10:38PM I really don't understand what the big deal is. Why should a person tell everybody their sexual orientation. That should be your business. I don't want to know if you're straight, bi, or gay. It's really none of my business.

Artist Builds Backyard Survival Shelter, Homemade Shotgun Robot {Asylum}

Sep 3rd 2010 8:48PM What good does it do to have the shelter if you can't protect it? If he and his family are using this shelter there is obviously something very wrong and if that is true then other people will want to be in with them. This means they could be hurt of killed for what they have. I don't blame him for having a gun at all. Guns aren't the problem any way. People are. If someone wants to kill you, they don't need a gun.

Blogging Helps Jasmine Maintain a 200-Pound Weight Loss {That's Fit}

Jul 25th 2010 11:13AM Kyle, obviously you have never had a weight problem. Being overweight is not just about how much you eat, but a lot of other things factor into that. Like genetics, thyroid, kinds of food, exercise. Some people actually have physical problems that make them gain weight. Until you have to lose weight yourself, I suggest you keep your comments. You have no idea how hard it is to lose. Believe me it's not easy. You obviouly have no feelings.

Mar 18th 2010 9:23PM I think Barry Manilow is great and I think he and his music would be a great addition to the show.
