Computer Repair That Calculates to Savings -- Savings Experiment {WalletPop}

Apr 22nd 2010 6:29PM for the autor to say it costs a $1000 for parts he is either misinformed or just being taken from someone that is seeing him come with no idea of what he is talking about.. the most exp. mother boards (the exp. parts based on a home computer) is $7-800 and is for gaming. The mother board for the avg user can be bought from anywhere from $75 on the cheap end (not recomended) to $200 (also not recomended) but i have found that a mother board of about $125-150 is more than adaquite for most users. these mother boards can be installed by the avg. user as long as they ground them selves before and during installation. I have never bought a new computer but i have built many puters for about $400-500 that will out preform any store bought computer.. everything in computers these days are user friendly to replace and install. as for data recovery the best thing i have found is to set your computer to back up to a network storage unit. ($200-300) these units do their own maintaince and can be setup on your network including your puters to back up to it automatically in less than 15 min. (per system) and it is plug and play for the most part.
