the sandwich you describe is a "dirty double"....and if your not careful its what they will make....If you dont explain it as I said.
They seem to get confused about using the mystical 3slice bun on anything other then the bigmac.....

Apr 1st 2010 10:05AM One day standing at McD on airline hwy in baton rouge, la...waiting to order lunch I noticed something....So I called the manager over...I was working next door so I ate there often enough for the manager to know me...and give me enough time to hear me out LOL...

I reviewed my discovery...

Point#1 : The big mac combo and 1/4#er combo were the same price..as long as the 1/4#r isnt on $1day or something it should be the same or more expensive which works. The point is to establish that the meat is the determining factor in price...not the 2 or 3 pieces of bread nor the dressing.

Point#2 : The only difference between a quarter pounder and a double quarter pounder is the extra QPatty.

Point#3 : Given points 1 and 2....any reasonable manager should be compliant with your wishes for a BIGGERMac...tell them you want to order and pay for a double quarter pounder combo....but you would like them to prepare it as a 1/2# BigMac using the two quarter pounder patties.

I call it a "BiggerMac Combo"....Ive since successfully ordered it at McDs in 5 states. It isnt in the system...but it doesnt really have to be. Everytime Ive had to grab a manager and explain....So far Ive only had one refuse.
