Jan 15th 2008 7:29PM Not a chance. Its overpriced and underpowered. 3lbs ok. Sure and i have to haul 10lbs of junk with me too for what it doesn't have. End user non replaceable battery? ONE usb port? $1800???? Are they smoking crack? I was expecting stripped down, THIN and CHEAP. This is the entirely wrong move. $800 i'd say YES. $1800...no thanks, no way, NOT a chance in HELL. And yes, i sold most of my stock today. I'm getting sick of apple's keynotes being a continual and perpetual letdown, and NOT streaming them live anymore? WTF? Don't we make something called QUICKTIME STREAMING SERVER??? Maybe TRY streaming!!! JESUS. Asleep at the wheel or what? Maybe GIVE the people what they want, fill that GAPING woulded oozing hole in the product chart and release something between the iMac and the Mac Pro. A nice lowend mac pro for home users who want to use their own monitor. Something with a decent videocard, so that we can play all the great games that will NEVER make it to Mac....because we all KNOW exactly how much apple gives a damn about gamers, home users and geeks who like to add stuff to their machines. I tell you this latest keynote has me LIVID. I'm possibly the biggest apple fan i know or have met....and i'm so totally pist off its unreal. Think i'm just going to build a damn nice little windows box for gaming and be done with it. The OS is starting to get really irrelevant to me, whats important now to me more than anything is this simple thing "CAN i DO what *I* want to do with it, without it costing more than a mortgage payment or two?"

Jan 9th 2006 10:29AM I think personally they're going to play with the Nano....remember the memory for the nano is on a card. hehe. I'm thinking that the Shuffle is gone. Poof, dead. Only shuffle available will be the 512. And the Nano...i know its new..i know i know! will be available as 1 gig, 4 gig and 8 gig. Or some form of memory configuration that makes more sense..... but no more 2 and 4. I'm thinking MORE.
The mini will be demo'd as the intel mini....available in "spring"
and the 1 more thing? intel powerbook....shipping same day as the new mini.
