Aug 6th 2009 8:29PM Sarah Palin was announced as John McCain's running mate while I was enjoying the Labor Day weekend in Lake Tahoe, NV with life long friends. What a surprise! A pleasant one, though I had never before heard of her. I thought it a daring move.

Governor Palin brought a lot to the table. She was/is a bold involved person not afraid to speak her mind. Free to be an Alaskan and an American. Was she over her head drawn into the McCain Presidential race? Perhaps. But she performed gracefully even under the media glare and gnashing teeth that chose to destroy her, her children and her personal beliefs. For Shame!

I would like to see Mrs Palin again in the future, albiet with a voice coach to calm her an octive or two and a few less winks and nods.

All in all I think Sarah Palin is a politician, a woman to be reckoned with and a woman of the future. You go, Sarah! Make things right!
