Mar 29th 2012 4:56PM Luckily, I bought a house in a neighborhood that had no HOA. Unfortunately, 20 years after I moved in, a complete community was built all around me, with a nasty HOA. You had to belong to this HOA to even buy in this community. They couldn't force me to sign (though they did ask me to)yet even as a non-member, they tried to tell me what to do on my property. I.E. can't have that shed out back, nor that above ground pool, or the cord of fireplace wood. I lost my temper, and told this "Person," what part of my anatomy she could kiss. I was threatewned with fines, court costs, and possible eviction. I told them if they persisted in their harrassment, I would hire the dirtiest lawyer I could afford, and sue them for their eve teeth. Thirty years later, I haven't heard a peep out of them. As posted earlier, hoas are peopled by little nobodys, who are on a power trip. It may cost initially in legal fees, but I strongly advise, FIGHT. We are Americans, and we still, (I think) have rights.

Sep 15th 2011 5:39PM I've never understood beauty pageants. ANY of them! I presume it's most beautiful takes the prize. Miss Ango;a is NOT the most beautiful. It's sorta like you don't give the crown to the fastest driver in the race, you give it to the one who shows some unknown better trait.

Our schools are not centers of learning, they've become indoctrination centers, pushing a far left agenda. I don't care what the teachers political agenda is, but don't shove it down our kids throat. We, the people have got to ge the authority to can these liberal teachers, and get our schools returnedto getting an education. And yes, if they were teaching a far right agenda, I'd want to can them TOO.

May 17th 2011 3:28PM Just out of curiosity, how long before parents get fed up with American "Educators," and start forming parent blocs to file class action suits against these totalitarian school educators? Aren't you fed up with the way they dictate bad curriculi, bad dietary menus, and poor teacher performance? I don't have a dog in this fight, as my children are all grown, and beyond the reach of these sub-standard fools, but it still irks me to read these type of blogs. I'm thankful every day that they weren't taught that they are the oppressors of the poor Mexican race, by being "Gringos."

This man, with the amount of money he obviously has squirreled away, can live any type of life style ANYONE would envy. So GO Regis. Just GO.
