Apr 20th 2010 10:45AM I always caution my kids that there is a huge difference between a life or death survival and going a couple of days without food. If you have to endure the latter, why complicate it with debilitating, or life-threatening, diarrhea or vomiting. And why, oh WHY, would you risk parasitic infestation unless you WERE in danger of starving. Like some of the show that have the stars catching poisonous snakes, I think this sends a potentially dangerous message.
