When Dads Get Depressed -- Who Says Postpartum Is Just for Women? {Asylum}
Sep 2nd 2010 9:05PM This is exactly what I was thinking. It's not possible for men to have PPD because they don't have the hormone and birthing issues women have. It is a physical impossibility. Can they be depressed? Sure. Lack of sleep, cranky baby, etc., etc., etc., ANYONE could be depressed. However, it is NOT PPD. Sorry guys that along with all the other things surrounding the physiology of child birth belongs to women.
Life Nomadic: Beating The Moroccan Hustle {Gadling}
Apr 22nd 2010 9:04PM I loved living in Morocco. I never got hustled though. A couple people tried, but I have a husband, three brothers in law, three sisters in law and a mother in law who wouldn't let anyone mess with me. Of course I lived in a neighborhood where everyone knew everyone else and knew I was the only American living there. Also, the only American most had ever actually seen. On our forays to the Medina (which were often!) sometimes the locals would approach me speaking French, thinking I was a Euro tourist. But that only lasted a second until whoever I was with made it clear not to mess with me. I miss being there so much.
Coming attractions: Morocco {Gadling}
Apr 22nd 2010 8:49PM I loved being in Rabat but I liked Casablanca much much better. I spent a year living in Morocco and traveled all over the place though my home base was in Casa.
