'Returnaholics' cost retailers billions of dollars a year {WalletPop}
May 25th 2010 1:40PM For the last two years or so, I've seen a dramatic drop in returns! Why? Because I started charging a "restocking" fee for every product I sell.
When a customer walks in and wants to return an item, I'll charge them 20% of the retail cost of that item. Nine out of ten walk out without a refund.
Once an item is returned, I now have to resell it at a lower cost because the item is now considered an opened item, and I lose money. For instance, If someone returned a $1,000 camera, I tell them there is a 20% restocking fee of $200.00. Will that be cash, credit, or debit?
Best Buy has been doing it for years. Maybe more and more retailers need to wise up to this idea!

Mar 23rd 2010 3:29PM I was thinking she could pair up with Octomom in a lesbian love affair porn video to help pay back the loss!
OMG! I sooo wanted to barf within the first two minutes of the video! What a friggin' spoiled brat!
Merlin Olsen Dies at 69 {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Mar 11th 2010 12:37PM He also had the lead role opposite Michael Landon in "Highway to Heaven" in the 1990s.
This guy was nothing short of a class act, both on and off the field. Truly an inspiration. My heart-felt condolences to his family and friends, may he rest in peace.
Save a Soaked Cell Phone {Switched}
Nov 10th 2009 11:06AM Although this hasn't happened to me yet, but what about (with) smart phones? (i.e. Blackberry, iPhone, Droid)?
In a poor economy, SeaWorld raises ticket prices to just under $80 {Gadling}
Nov 9th 2009 5:13PM Heather, I couldn't agree more with your post. I've just renewed my season pass for the eighth consecutive year, only this time, I've renewed for the two-year option. I really don't care what the price is, no amount is worth saving the life of a defenseless animal/mammal.

Nov 6th 2009 1:16PM Donna, you bring up an interesting point concering the new e-readers (as their called). I also want to add, that, at least REAL books won't cost you $200-$300 each, and, batteries won't die during a "good part" of an e-reader, then you're stuck either buying new batteries (MSRP $60) and/or recharging them for three hours. I'd take a REAL book anyday!
Leaving Verizon Wireless to get more expensive Nov. 15 {WalletPop}
Nov 5th 2009 5:42PM Funny how the article concers Verizon Wireless customers, but the photo is of Verizon... (just saying...)

Nov 3rd 2009 8:16PM $78.95 per person? Wow. Makes Sea World San Diego, CA seem poultry at $69.00 per person, although I'm sure wil follow Orlando's lead soon.
I'm a current premium season passholder to Sea World, San Diego, CA. and was able to get a two year pass for just $149.00. Only $6.80 per month, and go as often as you like. Ok, so that means it pays for itself in 10 visits. I've already been there 30 times this year.
