Vanessa Branch -- 10 Things You Didn't Know About the Orbit Gum Girl {Asylum}

Jul 26th 2010 2:28PM Well technically on public television there are still some "swear" words that are not allowed. As for the others while they may certainly be vulgar (to you?) they are lesser swear words or allowed swear words. However though I must interject that because I do not know what constitutes "swear words" for you. Since it seems that the act of merely implying is as grievous as actually do so. I'd rather boycott companies for a bit more legitimate reasons such as objectification of men and women, treatment of its employees and such..

Jul 26th 2010 2:23PM Sorry but I think you are taking these commercials much too seriously.

Jason Bateman Apologizes for Being a Jerk, We Decide If He's Guilty or Not {Switched}

Jun 30th 2010 6:38PM Sorry but you're taking life way too seriously. Bateman took up an offer that anyone would not have passed up period. The Apple Employee pulled him from the line. He figured "Oh hey yeah, awesome!" as anyone else would have thought. :P

I don't see why he has to apologize or why you have to think this is /serious/ enough worthy of a boycott. Now if you were boycotting Roman Polanski then you'd have more of a case. See the difference? Polanski did way a much graver crime then cutting in line.

If you don't want celebrities getting "celebrity privileges" then boycott the trashy magazines, the tabloid newsshows, get CNN and the like to stop making news of celebrity stories because by you (and others) boycotting these things that's you stop the flow of revenue for paparazzi and tabloids meaning celebrities don't get the privileges of shopping with the store to themselves, being harassed for photos, getting the table ahead of everyone else, cutting in line..

That's root of the problem. Not some B-list actor enjoying the perks that someone else gave him. (Notice that he was in line until someone pulled him out.)

Jun 30th 2010 6:30PM The same thing happens at the supermarket when a cashier pulls me from my line to one they just opened. Instead of getting snippy, blame the person who did the pulling. If I was there, and someone pulled me out of a line to be rung faster I would have taken the chance! So what? Gonna boo me for that?

Anyone who says they wouldn't are flat out lying.

Who gives a flying frack what /we/ think of him. Honestly it doesn't matter if he did get a phone faster than someone else. The bottom line is that he did what everyone else would have done, period.

Some people's kids.. honestly..
