Aug 30th 2010 8:52PM Your an idiot. My husband is about as 'macho' and 'manly' as they come, but after the birth of our daughter (who by the way wasn't our first) he did suffer depression. Why? Because the constant attention and care that a new child requires is draining on every part of the body and mind, and He chose to take the time and effort and be that involved in her care. Men did not take as active of a role in the care of their babies, thus did not experience it. So these 'sissy's' you refer to, are really REAL men finally doing the right thing and BEING a parent to their children. That must not be an experience you've had the blessing to have in your need to appear "macho"

Apr 1st 2009 10:21AM anyone who is resentful that this lady is willing to love and cherish this baby as her own has some issues they need to look into. Step parents are no longer a novelty, and often times bring more to the table than that child had before. Its NOT just about the dad, because they are husband and wife and to draw that line can only cause conflict as the child grows older...no child has ever been harmed by too much love.
