Sep 29th 2012 11:27AM I am proud of Canada's actions. As a close neighbor all through my youth (just across the border in NYS), I always admired the people. Of course, my family came down from Canada many years past, so I see them as family. Canada has much is common with us, but the place is so much cleaner and well cared for! There seems to be even more cultural diversity in Canada, than in the US. And, hopefully they have less political intrigue. We know they care more for their Canadian neighbor, than USians do!! Hooray Canada!! I yearn to visit Montreal again, and Western Canada for the first time.

Feb 17th 2012 6:35PM There are thousands, probably 100s of thousands just like him. I think this kind of greed and cruelty happens in up to 1/2 of all families. It happened in 2 generations of my family. Sister Ruth Burnett and her daughter Melodie along with another sister, Elaine, did the same thing in our family. In the generation before, my father's sisters Alice and Elizabeth Bylow also took everything that should have been shared by 10 siblings. Two siblings sued and got back part of the estate. Family means nothing when it comes to money....at least not to the greedy.

Just give her the $25,000 and make it a big public thing. Make it clear in the media that you are willing to save her to this point in time, but it is up to her and your sister(s) to take care of things from here on out. You need the positive media exposure, you can afford it, and everybody knows you did a big favor, but that you don't have the kind of relationship that would indicate a lifetime of caretaking on your part. No one can know your mother and sister's character or their relationship with you. Families are tough!! But, do the right and expedient thing, and you will be far better off. You need peace!!!

Dec 19th 2011 7:07PM I feel impatience with announcements such as this about miscarriages. I had 3 myself. They are common, and usually natures way of eliminating an unhealthy pregnancy. It is not a child or an adult, so it is ridiculous to call it a tragedy. The exception would be if it was due to some kind of accident; auto, a serious fall, gunshot. But a normal miscarriage is something that should be private and not a big announcement to the world. Only close family and friends should be informed. The media is so greedy for personal information that I expect them to start announcing if someone wets their pants or bites their lip.

He has definitely sold us down the river. No altruism in that man....NONE. And, yes, I am shocked. And, yes, I am not! Kris, the mother, has managed to make Kim the most cheap and twisted of the K sisters. It is sad........is this were a poor family CPS would have taken those kids away.
