Hot Seat: Taxes or Tea Bags? {Politics Daily}

Apr 15th 2009 4:55PM I have worked for over 35 years, and I just got laid off from my job. I am not wealthy, and I pay my taxes. I did send a tea bag to President Obama. Does that make me out to be a lazy slob, or someone who wants something for nothing? Not a chance. People who have lived off the dole for many years are the ones who want others to pay their taxes. I have done that. Now it is time for you, to get off your ass and earn your keep.

Vandals Deface Kay Yow Memorial {Fanhouse NCAA Basketball Blog}

Feb 3rd 2009 6:34PM I am guessing that free speech is free speech so long as the mainstay agree. Otherwise, free speech will be isolated along with our other rights which we have lost and are slowly losing. The pig who wrote and defaced the coach's work should be held accountable, but that, too, is something that people are tossing by the wayside.

Hawaii May Ship Homeless Back to the Contiguous States {Asylum}

Jan 28th 2009 12:06PM First of all, minimum wage was not set up for people to make a living on. It was established as a gap for people like students, etc. As far as education goes, it does take money, but it also can be free, as many people have learned. I got my Masters through grants and student loans, which I have paid back. If there is a drive to improve, it can be done. When people cry about being broke, lacking education, etc., I don't have much sympathy. It is easier to sit back and enjoy the monthly check and food stamps than to actually go out and earn their own keep. I've seen it oh so many times.

Who Screwed Up the Oath, Roberts or Obama? {Politics Daily}

Jan 20th 2009 2:35PM Oh, evelyn, how do you know how Roberts feels about Obama's election? Both men are human, no need to "fault" anyone, but so far, that seems to be the way of the parties, here. Dems for Obama, Repubs for Roberts. How consistently stupid people are.

Countrywide sued for racketeering over appraisal practices {WalletPop}

Jan 16th 2009 6:05PM Problem with class actions lawsuits is that only the attorneys win. Whatever amount of money is in the final settlement is divided, based on a percentage, between the plaintiffs. But, the fees for attorneys are quite lucrative. I wouldn't file class action. I'd file on my own behalf.

What could possibly be too racy for the Super Bowl? A Website for cheaters {WalletPop}

Jan 16th 2009 11:40AM Well said, Rob! Thank you. Mumbling jibberish is generally what I hear from my 6 month old child, not from a supposedly educated adult. Grow up Brog and find some common sense, rather than idealistic ramblings that make absolutely no sense.

Fired Employees Saddened By Insensitive MySpace Pages of Ex-Bosses {Switched.com}

Jan 15th 2009 3:54PM It doesn't matter what the bosses do, it will be wrong. The less said, the less of an opportunity for a lawsuit or some other tom-foolery to earn money without working. I think it is best to stay on the "sunny" side of the news.

Jan 9th 2009 6:46PM Okay...okay. Calm down before you have a stroke.
