Jun 22nd 2011 11:20AM I highly recommend that every one with children rad your post. I believe in the old fashioned VALUES, being taught, such as respect for others, obedience to parents and the elderly, and etc., however, I'm guilty of being disrespectful in my mind(toward this person who calls, himsel, a Judge. Children have been molly-coddled and catered to, too much and with Judges like this, the ones who aren't already criminals, will be! I do not "Respect" this Judge's attitude. I'd be very worried about my job, if I were he and if he is elected. Kid's for the most part aren't old enough to vote , Mr. Longoria but most parents are.

Jun 21st 2011 7:18PM dougalcandy, I wish to commend you on a well written, truthful, post. It frightens me to think that our country will someday, be ran by kids of today. I won't be here, I'm 80, but I do hope and pray that
Judge Longoria is and sees how dead wrong he was, by siding with these wayward kids, of today. Parents who try to raise their children, properly, do not have a chance of instilling in them what is important...respect, being one of them. Were I young today, there is not a chance I would have children, by choice! Stripping parents of their rights doesn't make this Judge many friends. I would guess, but never know, that Judge Longoria is no older than 30 or 35 at most! Thanks! Again...

Jun 9th 2011 6:19AM I'm one up on Elisabeth! It takes me, only five minutes to size up anyone by listening to them and watching their body language. I knew before my five minutes was up, What Sarah really was...a manipulator, a woman who loves to gossips and in all, actuality, a brainless woman. I'm a woman and I know. Elisabeth should learn t0 judge people better ...if they start smearing their opponent, they're insecure and evading the issues. Think for yourself, Elisabeth!

It's mostly the wealth who do not pay their taxes and they know what they're doing Yet they're the ones the Republicans fight to be sure they get fat tax breaks. Anyone who would bite off the head of a bird(Ozzy did) would draw blood before paying taxes. Personally, I get sick at even glancing at red hair...gives me chills. They'll have a cellmate in Westly Snipes in Federal prison, he doesn't pay taxes, either.

Apr 8th 2011 6:17PM I agree, wholeheartedly, with your post. These young people mostly died from overdosing, the rest died from what the drugs did to their bodies. They risked their lives and lost. The so-called music was just a lot of loud instruments, not music, at all.

Feb 24th 2011 2:12PM This young man(Joel Northup) was, apparently, raised to respect females, unfortunately, this high school's officials were not. We have too many men'ssports, to which females try to invade. I say keep women's sports aside from men's! Congratulations, Joel Northup for standing up for what is right. Our school officials, nowadays, are a product of non-parenting, those whose parents feel their kids can do no wrong, would down the school officials for trying to correct them. Men wrestle men. Women wrestle women. No sport should be unisex.

Dec 17th 2010 9:45PM Iranian-American Farid Seif did not in any way "forget" that he had the gun with him when he boarded the plane. He intentionally took the gun aboard. A Senator Hostetler, a few years ago was caught at the Louisville Airport with a gun, too. He ost the next election, perhaps not because of that but I was glad to learn he would no longer be a threat, because it is for certain no one boards a plane with a gun unless they know it! They're smart asses!
