10 Hilariously Awful Television Commercials for Lawyers {Asylum}

Oct 5th 2010 7:35AM As an attorney, I am embarrassed by the lack of professionalism displayed by some firms. It's a race to the bottom. That said, there are many attorneys (probably the silent, non-advertising majority) that abhor such marketing and still generate business the old fashioned way - through reputation and word-of-mouth. I encourage anyone looking to hire an attorney to ignore the big advertisers and simply ask their friends and colleagues for recommendations. It's never been easier to ask for suggestions through Facebook, Twitter, etc.
