They take everything literally. On the other hand, was the joke pathetic? You bet, and then (Kerry) feeling that he had to advise his audience that the Gov. of Alaska is Palin was doubly pathetic.

Hot Seat: Clinton's Speech {Politics Daily}

Aug 27th 2008 1:25PM Did anyone see Joe Scarborough, the Republican former Congressman, rip David Schuster for several minutes on "Morning Joe" Tuesday after Schuster correctly stated to Joe that the Republicans were "your people" or "your party," or something of the like. It was embarassing. Joe went on to generally accuse MSNBC employees of dishonestly registering as Independents, the implication being that they are mostly Democrats, which may be true but has nothing to do with Joe's oft-stated allegiance to the Republicans.

Then, this morning, as usual, while most the country applauded Hillary's speech, we had to endure listening to guest after guest defend Joe's criticisms of the speech until coverage concluded with Republicans strategists tearing the speech apart.

I hope that next week during McCain's days, Joe treats us to Democratic strategists tearing up everything the Republicans try to accomplish.
