I went from over 500 lbs (there wasn't a scale even at the hospital to weigh me anymore) and have now lost (in 3 years) over 240 and STILL going. You sound so much like me a few years ago. Shut up and do something about it. YOU CAN! I was morbidly FAT for 40 years and now am smaller than high school and HAPPY. I was on 14 meds a day, now down to 4. I can (and do) walk MILES. You ARE choosing to lose...your life. Don't do it. Lose the weight. Just decide you will and start this minute, not tomorrow or after the next pizza. I walked with a walker in my own home, couldn't go anywhere, lost friends. And, it was NEVER hell. I just had to do it and knew it. If you need psych help, get it. But, don't just lay there and die!

Apr 9th 2009 9:45AM Yeah.... well, I was about 500lbs with all the regular excuses,and couldn't work. Hell, I could barely walk. Then got tough and smart with myself and I've lost over 240lbs (no surgery, no drugs) and I'm still going. I wish to hell I hadn't spent all those years trapped in that hell of fat. This people should be arrested for attempted suicide and put on a 500 calorie a day diet. In about 3 months when they can begin to walk without keeling over, maybe they'll begin to see that fat is NOT where it's at. Been there, done that and still have some of the 6X tshirts to prove it!
