Back before the $$$ millions per player came into view. Back when it was real and not animated like it is today. The Players then, actually worked for a living outside of Playing. They worked hard and in their down-time, between work, family life, and Playing Football Professionally on the weekends, some of them used to get out and cut loose slam some Boiler-makers, and/or Shots and Beers. Most did it with self-control at the time which was normal behavior and they were in more cases Heros to Young and Old Alike. Today's uptight, sniveling, whiny, candy-assed, etc. society lives off of political correctness, for all it's uselessness (look at Washington and our Economy) and reality TV which is a crock, tryin' to find something or someone to write about, all for some more finger pointing. If this incident is a bad example for kids, then maybe they should be let out of the closet to see what the Real 'World' All Around them is Really Like.

Apr 16th 2009 2:15AM It's a bike, it's a three-wheeler. What-ever. To each their own. Get off the racist BS too!!! As a rookie rider of only 31 years experience, riding solo rides across Country, the US and Canada and likewise in the Middle-East with a few hundred thousand miles logged it makes no never-mind to this Vet (disabled also) what anyone rides. I ride two-wheelers and one day when the diability gets bad enough, a three-wheeler may be the order of the day.
As far as waving? Because there are so many self- centered, self-rightous, Clooges (Clown + Stooge = Clooge) so full of themselves (you'll see em' too all dressed to the nines in their name brand designer wanabe rider-ware-apparel), I don't wave at anyone not even people I know. They know me and who I am just an American Rider and American Vet riding American Iron still to this day from way before American Iron and Ridin' was Cool. Ridin' solo 2000 mile trips in 2 1/2 days one way to visit family & friends for a week and the return 2000 mile trips in 2 1/2 days are nothing but a thing either, just a longer the usual ride and still no fatigue, just smart ridin'. No designer garb, no mission, no gripes, no complaints, just leavin' those be that want to be, or the wanabes wanting to be cool.

"Yes" you are right about much of what you have written here. As an American I see the same rubbish that you talk about here each and everyday. Never out of all the other Countries I have visited, lived and/or worked in and Honorably served in with the Military, have I seen so many pompous, arrogant, and ignorant people in any one Country outside of the US. If they weren't such a bunch of cry-baby-asses with so little spine of integrity they'd see exactly what the rest of the World sees and the Rest of the US, the percentage that is actually worth the damn, primarily a vast percentage of Military members and veterans. It shows how pathetic so much of this Country has become in the way people here drive and raise their children, they don't have a clue. Other Countries primarily Central to Western Europe do not have the any-where near the amount of sexual crimes and predators that the US has nor do they have any-where close to the amount of daily crimes being committed either. It is fact, that repressed poeple will act out. The repression here is done, pushed and acted on by some of the most scared and cowardly people on the Earth to include those who are insecure in their own sexuality. There will be hate replies to this message, but it'll only go to prove what this message says, is being the truth. To All the Brothers and Sisters here in the US that know the actual Truth and Reality, I Salute You! Rap music is composed of crap, low intelligence and being honest and truthful there is no music quality to any of it. Some replies say that it takes talent to write and talk a rap garble, yes it might at that, but nothing more than an 80 IQ if that high at all. This has been proven with National Statistics.
In the Military we always used to come up with much better sounding raps then the low grade IQ published crap that has been a waste of life for the past 20 years.
Yes the Greats like: James Brown, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Barry White, Luther Vandross, and others are long past and/or gone, but they'll never be forgotten and a Second Coming of their Modern Day Replacements will make a Full Debut of which many are working on.
If you really want to see and here some talent, check Our Brothers out; Mr. Robert Cray, Legendary Buddy Guy and B.B. King. True Talent and True Class, Musicians and Singers, Hard-Drivin' and/or Low Down and Dirty, it's some of everything.
Our Sisters: Sade, Lisa Fischer, Toni Braxton, Koko-Taylor, and Alicia Keyes. Again True Talent and True Class.
They all have overly high IQ's too! Just 10 years ago, 1998 the National Average IQ in the US was 101-113, the same National Average conducted in 2008 is only 81-92.
