Accenture Drops Tiger Woods {Fanhouse Main}

Dec 14th 2009 2:27AM The tour is followed by "women" or work in its cities and have been part of the tour system for years. It is hypocritical of networks and sponsors to be going after Tiger Woods for doing what their own people do on the tour also. Notice how tour officials and golfers have stayed reltively quiet because they enjoy the "women of the tour" also. The rich men do not want to lose what they enjoy. Sponsors are being hypocritical because they are afraid of the unknowing public spending their money elsewhere but they do not admit to their people using the same "women of the tour".

Newsweek, fighting for survival, drifts toward irrelevancy {Daily Finance}

Nov 17th 2009 11:34PM Anyone politician used to being in the public spotlight with half a brain would have known this picture was a bad idea. Posing in pigtails and running shorts leaning on a flag was going to get her in trouble. Too many implications in one image. It does not matter that it was taken for Runner's World because it would definitely be shown during her next campaign. Runner's World did not need to show her in pigtails or with a flag. Her fault that she allowed the image to be made especially for publication where it would get noticed and could be used again.

House Narrowly Passes Historic Health Care Bill {Politics Daily}

Nov 8th 2009 2:05AM As if the Republicans did not slit their throats in the only big congressional election on Tuesday. They lost another seat in the House (New York's 23rd didtrict whichthe Republicans had won every election in since the Civil War) because they want all members to walk in the goose step. Both parties are in sad shape because neither one wants to listen to "We the people." The people are polarized in their communities and don't realize that they are being overlooked and underrepresented by the politicians.

House Narrowly Passes Historic Health Care Bill {Politics Daily}

Nov 8th 2009 12:59AM While I think we need health care reform I think that at this moment we need to balance the budget to prevent hyperinflation. We are setting ourselves up to be the interwar Germany that could not pay its bills and ended up with a Nationalist Socialist dictator being legally given power. I am not saying that is what we have I just think that it may be what we get. The answer is to do a constitutional amendment to either limit taxation or to require balanced budgets like states which limits reactions to national emergencies. Maine showed that they could repeal legislation that was signed by their governor.

Maine Voters Repeal Same-Sex Marriage Law in Close Vote {Politics Daily}

Nov 4th 2009 2:25PM Social action is important to this country. The majority of voters have never passed the Civil Rights Amendment or the Proclamation Emancipation as they were initiatives of the legislature and a President. This country is based on "We the People", not the majority of the people and when our leaders look to insure that all people are created equal and have inalienable rights it is a travesty to see that the majority can force its will upon the minority.
That being said I am for all marriages to be called legal civil unions as the basis of legal rights for a couple. The legal rights given to a married couple are legal not holy. The rights that one segment of society has should not be excluded from another segment of society, especially based on religion or sexual orientation. Let couples determine how they love each other and live together or do you propose a thought police state.

CBS Report: Police Account of Steve McNair Death Doesn't Add Up {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Oct 19th 2009 9:19PM Hey Armen is an experienced sideline reporter that has solved numerous murder cases on the 50 yard line at halftime. He is pretty sure that one of the Laker girls did it. I am obviously being facetious and pointing out who should be considered an expert in what field. It is what I have out in my pasture on my cattle ranch for him to think he could do a more correct murder investigation..

ESPN Writer Rips Lupica Via Twitter {Fanhouse NCAA Football Blog}

Oct 10th 2009 7:26PM Lupica is an underachiever, never-played-the-game-supposedly-expert writer that has mailed it in 4 years. I still remember his comment about Stoops supposedly running up the score when Stoops was playing deep into his bench, but Lupica had not watched the game and just mailed it in. Now Lupica who has an east coast bias is complaining that Pete Carroll & USC have underachieved.
I am a Big 12 fan but I saw that Texas-USC game and the refs gave the game to Texas so there's one of those national championships. Being honest about it USC should have been playing in the game instead of OU last year, another one (Look at how many were drafted from USC after last year).
If east coast writers and coaches who are the majority of the poll voters did not have a bias Pete Carroll may have satisfied Lupica but I doubt it. The results however like with anything in college is the numbers in the professional ranks and USC, especially under Carroll can not be matched.

Controversial Nude Shields Image Yanked From London Museum {PopEater}

Sep 30th 2009 8:57PM Well in actuality the Richard Prince "Spiritual America" was an exhibit in the 1980s that used a photograph of the Gross photograph. Prince bought a store and created a gallery called "Spiritual America" to show Americans what they were buying. The one photograph in question was used because of Shields' pop celebrity for Pretty Baby, Blue Lagoon and her Calvin Kleins.
You might not think an artist should express a negative opinion but isn't that just your negative opinion and not beautiful and uplifting. Remember beauty, art and pornography are in the mind of the beholder. Its a good thing there is wide variety of minds so that we don't get stuck with mind police.
