Apr 2nd 2011 3:57AM Hey man, I didn't rat you out. Yeah, I'm 47 living with my parents, sister and niece. My elderly parents need some assistance in their lives. My sisters husband passed away 4 years ago, and I enjoy acting as the surrogate father figure to my niece. My career generally kept me on the road for 10 months out of the year, so initially it was a financial decision. Why put money into a home you occupy for maybe 2 months of the year. But try getting past that point in a conversation when you have to admit that you live with your parents. Acceptable over the rest of the world, but a sign of weakness in America. Not the ideal that I dreamed of, but the reality I live. And I am proud of it, until I see another loser character in the media, and all my friends look to me.

Apr 2nd 2011 3:20AM Myrna, I am sorry that someone hurt you so bad that you dislike men in general. What a lot of women don't realize is the challenge for men since women have come into the workplace. We are still being held to the ideals that our parents lived. The workplace see's a man as weak, who chooses to spend time with his family. Goodbye promotion. Unexceptable to take a day to see the doctor. Suck it up. Women aren't treated the same in the workplace, they've got it better. Preferential hiring, male bosses afraid to berate a women, that they wouldn't hesitate to do to a male coleague. Yet I've had several women bosses whom I liked very much, but even amongst them, they gave preferential treatment to other girls who worked with me. Let's look at the number of scholarships given to women as oppossed to men. How about the numbers of college graduates? How about even the programs to get mom's back in school? It can be pretty depressing when you are continually bombarded with how tough women have it, and that we males are "all" responsible. Stop embracing your antiquated opinions of what a man has to be, and start accepting what we are. If you can't then please, just give up on us, but don't blame us.
