The First Ladies Wore White: Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni in France {BV on Style}

Jun 8th 2009 2:26PM On a sombre day of remembrance we can all stand to be reminded that life is a beautiful thing. She looks stunning.

What Can't You Do With Peeps? {Asylum}

Apr 11th 2009 8:59PM The popularity of peeps is ever increasing. Have you ever youtubed peeps? There are a million videos about peeps, and the case is not helped by the fact the the vlogbrothers, aka brotherhood 2.0 seem to have immortalized eating large amounts of peeps all at once.

N.Y. Baker Makes Racist Cookies, Threatens President {Lemondrop}

Jan 26th 2009 10:07PM I think these cookies are only racist because they only come in black. If the bakery had placed "Drunken Whitey Cookies" next to their "Drunken Negro Cookies" then everyone would have been fine. It was a bad move on the bakeries part, but they are artfully crafted cookies. As culinary art they're pretty wonderful.

Doll pulled over Islamic message {ParentDish}

Oct 10th 2008 8:52AM Has anyone thought about the fact that the sentence "Islam is the light" is pretty nonsensical, and for a small child probably completely meaningless? If your kid picked up on those words in that incoherent babbling they've got bigger issues then needing their doll taken away.

Potent Quotables: The Gossip's Beth Ditto {Spinner}

Aug 18th 2007 12:31AM She is a lovely young lady and could probably look very beautiful if she just learned how to dress herself properly. Britney Spears looked just as bad in a plastic one piece body suit as this girl does. Plastic just shouldn't be a material that people wear. Put them both in some classy feminine outfits, and there we go! both thick and thin are beautiful.

"Smoking Pot Makes Me a Better Mother" {News Bloggers}

Aug 11th 2007 2:15AM None of this will matter 30 years down the road when the next generation of adults all grow up to be mentally challenged from the chemicals they've been inhaling, encouraged by their parents.

You don't care what happens in 30 years? Go ahead, why not fill baby bottles with vodka? But I DO care.. because 30 years from now I may be in a nursing home or hospital, or a store and I don't want a stoners braincell lacking child responsable for anything in my life.

I dont want to hear that pot is natural, pot comes from the earth, pot this pot that... you know what? Coal is natural too and how many miners died from black lung? Asbestos - Natural. Carbon Monoxide - Natural. Cancer? Natural. Pesticides... natural. Poison Ivy? Natural.. wouldn't smoke a joint of that would you? or Hemlock.... an acorn can kill a horse.

Just because tea comes from the earth doesn't mean it's good for you, or your child. You think Medicinal Weed is any different? You think a doctor wouldn't give you something that could potentially kill you just to shut you up and pay his bills? You're all talking about the government? The government knows more then you do, and they're not trying to hide anything either. Put down the bowl and open a book. There are reasons it's illegal. The same reasons the government tells us to put carbon monoxide detectors in our homes. To keep us ALIVE.

I am sick and tired of everyones apathy. Not caring if she smokes is as bad as smoking yourself. This is OUR planet, and that child is a part of it. Why should I have to tolerate living in a country with people so uneducated whereas they honestly believe it's alright to smoke weed, or ANYTHING for that matter when they have children.

And how utterly SELFISH to submerge the pain of her issues under the influence, when she should be living selflessly to raise her children properly to be the best that they can. The world is hard enough without parents making it even harder on their children. Look AROUND YOU! LOOK AT THE WORLD. ITS GONE TO SHIT! Home is suppose to be the place where your kids feel safe and loved! Not where they feel like a burden to their own mother!

You know what makes you a better mother? Loving your child enough to not expose them to things that are that adult, and loving yourself enough to clean up your act.

The Make-Up Artists' Guide to Sparkling Winter Looks {oldstylelist}

Jan 6th 2007 3:34PM I like the idea of having a light glowing face, but I don't like how they represented the idea with two pictures of raccoon eyes. Just punch me in the face why dont ya? At least it'll save me some time in the morning.
