FDR came up with some wonderful ideas that saved a lot of people from being homeless and also helped millions of men and women to get work. But, over the years, as things got better ad the Unions worked for the workers and the economy was growing and growing, people wanted their own homes. Then the years went by and Nixon and Reagan came along and started union busing and puting a halt to the working peoples values and paychecks, this last 30 years and especially from 2000 to 2008 #2 Bush tgurned our world upside down and inside out. Some families are finding it easier to group in one home, but it isn't something that will last long. WE ARE NOT SHEEP. WE ARE THE 99% and we want our lives to be better. The repukes would like to give more $$$$$ to the rich and take away almost 100 years of growth in this country. Everything for the top 1% and nothing for the 99%. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. We have a President who believes in the power of the people and he will guide us to better times. The Congress has been a weight around his head, but no we have the power of 60+ people who voted for President Obana and they are not going to get away with the crap they've been throwing at us.

Jul 20th 2011 12:15PM Considering the film "The Book Of Eli" was abot a post apocolyptic (spelling?) world and she had to wear rags and wear what looked like as pounds of "Dirt" make-up, I think she did a great job in the movie. She's done a couple of films since and each one she gets better and better. Drama or comedy as with Timberlake, she CAN act and she is very funny, too. I don't think we should call her a 'flavor of the week'. She's definitely gorgeous and I think she's going to make it.

It happened with 30 years of stupid, selfish, racist Republican presidents. These men never once thought about the people of the USA, they only thought of the rich and the powerful. Now we have the Koch brothers, the US Chamber of Commerce and Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich raising hundreds of billions of dollars to send the country back to the time of Hoover. And we all know what happened in 1929, right? With Obama, we just narrowly missed the same again, but if you insist on voting for them, the republicans will put us under. Six feet under for hundreds of thousands with no insurance, no Social Security and no Health Care. Open your heads, people.

May 28th 2011 12:43PM The Kardashians, no matter what you think about them, are rich, famous and hard working, even though their "working" is in the limelight of show-biz. They are making something of their lives, to their own advantage. Please don't tell me you wouldn't want to be earning millions of dollars per year being beautiful! Please don't tell me that if you had the guts, you wouldn't want to live in a $4 million dollar mansion. Please don't tell me there isn't just a bit of jeaolousy in your feelings. I, for one, wish I had the guts to get myself out there and promote, promote, promote. We all want a better life, some of us will get it, others will not because they don't know how to start.
