Aug 31st 2009 11:33PM Your dog may be older than this dog but if you don't REPORT it and APPLY to Guiness, it doesn't get into the record books. This dog is the oldest dog reported and verified. You have to go through a verification process and have proof of your claim in order to get the title. When the oldest chicken was on Jay Leno at age 14, I had one that was 15 but had no way to prove it. Just SAYING your dog is older means nothing.

In these economic times I can't see putting a small company out of business with a lawsuit. There are plenty of big corporations who discriminate that can be made examples of. This store may not be doing the right thing but right now they're providing much needed jobs.

If the neighbors had complained that would be a different matter but I assume that no one was complaining. Everyone was happy, there were no victums of this "crime" so the city spends it's time and money to make a family, a pig and a little boy miserable. Good way to spend tax dollars.
