Sep 13th 2007 3:40AM I assume the climate problem is the reason that the Marlins franchise is pushing so hard for a retractable roof stadium. With even most hardcore fans not showing up this week though, I wonder if the team's fanbase may simply not be recoverable in south Florida.

Jul 24th 2007 12:33PM Hedgehoggy is right, I am growing absolutely sick of the entire reality television genre being held responsible for each individual series failure. All dramas will not be pulled because "Traveler" had terrible ratings. All animated shows will not die because of "Creature Comforts."

The only thing that the failure of "Pirate Master" proves is that reality television fans have become discerning enough to differentiate between top genre shows and derivative crap.

If only those of you blindly condemning the reality TV genre en masse could learn how to do the same.

Jun 27th 2007 12:08PM Since pro wrestling isn't a real sport, Congress hasn't been inclined to see the deaths of so many wrestlers as a real concern. If the Benoit tragedy can't prompt Congressional hearings into the pro wrestling industry, nothing can do it.
