Aug 26th 2010 3:43PM I am a frequent traveler. I fly domestically and I fly Delta Airlines whenever possible. I have well over 1 million miles with Delta. Like all airlines it has had it's problems but nothing as complicated as running a superior airline is perfect. Delta is consistent and unlike Soutwest, they treat you as a valued customer rather than cattle. I stay at hotels often stay and when I see them in the morning they do not look as the Captain described in your article. Captains on the majors are really professionals and do not allow themselves the risk of danger to themselves let alone the aircraft and customers they fly. They do not get the left seat because of their time with the company although that's important. They must know the equipment they fly and continually pass difficult testing including flight simulators. Your Captain should join a major instead of the newbees.

They should never have listened to the "Junk Scientists" that are controlling the enviorment scare of then and today. They and their "game" computer madels are in the moronic groups. No facts. They just moved from the Dorm games to "computer Models" Crap in crap out folks.

Airlines should not charge customers extra for aisle or window seats or exit seats because they have slightly more leg room in exit aisles. This penalizes the frequent traveler and those that do not wait to the last minute.

Charge passengers that reserve seats on multiple flights for the same day to the same location. Reak\l low life.
