Apr 11th 2011 5:33PM American is such a piece of crap it should be shut down. I am astonished at the rudeness of its phone service (I call to report a lost card. A month later I call back and tI am told that there had been a glitch and I had to wait anotherc15 days for the card!); at the rudeness of its airport service ( being stranded in Dallas because of snow--finally I was sent to Washington and had to take a bus home); at the idiocy of its hub distribution (flying to Miami so I can fly back to Jacksonville); at the poor service overall (leaving an hour late fore Europe, so I lost my connecting flight from London to Munich); the scam of its miles (having to wait 15 days in Europe when my business was done in a week, simply because I used my miles for the trip); at its prices, the highest in the business.

Avoid AA at all costs.
