Feb 7th 2011 2:18AM The superbowl is simply an annual contest to see which entertainer (such as it is) to see who can outdo the previous one in bastardizing the National Anthem. Sing it the way it was meant to be sung - with respect and humility and maybe if she'd concentrated on that, she wouldn't have made an utter fool of herself as they all do when they ad-lib what should be the most revered song in this country. Frances Scott Key was surely turning in his grave tonight. What an absolute disgrace and I hope it's the last I see of her for a very long time.
