Nov 8th 2009 3:23AM Ok I'm sorry RiRi got into this, but she is a dirty lil witch...she is trying to make a nice man into a monster. Ok what these journalist need to do is find some of Chris Browns ex's and ask them if he beats on women, and ask Poor lil RiRi has he hit her in the past (I bet you on both ends it would be no). See this is my understanding of abusive men: they don't start at twenty years old beating on girls friends, they don't wait years into a relationship, and it will never be a one time thing (so Oprah take that in your pipe and smoke it, if he was such the monster she is telling the world he is, then she would have more than one story of abuse, she's a snake...and I can see her crawling), and abusive men don't have the shame this young man has. See my theory on this whole thing was...she seen this young man that had a better career than hers, thought she could attach herself to the good guy and get more going for herself, but that didn't work so she got sick of this lilly white azz good boy and ticked his azz off for POParazzi, but instead her plan back fired, little good boy had a breaking point and somehow she managed to push those buttons and got her azz whipped...and she's like f it I'll take that to make my name bigger, and don't care what she's doing to Chris Brown, cause she never gave a damn about him in the first place, she knows that man is not the monster she's putting him out to be, she knows she not a real battered woman, she's a snake! I feel bad for anyone woman that gets hurt by a man, but how dare she put her one time in at a losing end of a fight (I think that's all it was, not a woman with an abusive bf) and try to make the world cry a river for her, if she had any heart she would not be putting herself as the poster child for domestic violence, you don't know what those women go through, you didn't have an abuser, you just lost a fight you started...period.

Oct 26th 2009 11:34PM Well sadly this has happened too much in the black race, to where if you want to be trim, not skinny cause in any race looking as if you would struggle to pick up a peach is ugly...I just hate it when my race thinks being cute means being 50+ lbs. over weight, as long as you got a big butt and/or breast. We need to start teaching our daughters that being fit and thick is where it's at, cause since I got a 50 lbs. weight gain after having my second child I have been very unhappy, and most people still consider me thin, how? Fit, medium size bodies, have always been the prettiest to me, Beyonce's, Brandy's, Mary J's, of the world look good to me, and I hate that MoNique tries to tell young over weight girls they are ok, no it's not, your strength and body is better than that...look good for as long as you can, cause when it's gone you will be unhappy, promise you will, so stay fit and be healthy.

Ok if he got enough time to go to a free library, and his country is so poor and hungry, and to build a windmill (which if I looked in a book today I could do myself or my nine year old son...hello!) why dont these Africans after so many years of being hungry build a farm, build houses (you know Africa does have forrest), create a currency for the village (small towns in America have that when times get rough), and bring themselves out of the rut they have been in since the 1950's with the commercials in all. Ok it was nice he thought of something good to do with his time, when he was doing bad, that will lead to good for his community, but this could have been done long time ago, why in 2009 are they helpping themselves, when the churches and united ways of America have been helping Africa for years to get back on their feet, it's about time someone there do it for himself, and good for that young man. Like the War in Iraq, we need to take all our troops out 10/14/2009 and stop aiding this bogus ass war, since we all know the people in the middle east love to fight, and have had their own wars go on for 70 plus years, do America really think they can help, what have they done in the eight years, nothing (they have been having elections in their countries, maybe not as many women but this is nothing new, so we have done nothing for this region in eight years...lets go home by now). this is too much money to be spending on other countries, that's whats wrong with america now, we went to help others in their natural disaters, but we have not yet rebuilt New Orleans, but we have Millions to give to other countries, how dare we. We spend Millions to give others health care in other countries, but most Americans dont have it, and yes the Salvation Army, united Way, etc. do bring doctors to starving 3rd world countries for being paid pennies to care for them abroad, but will never do it for our own, how dare they. We accept these illegal Mexicans over here by the millions and try to work out healthcare, school for their children, work for them and housing (and mind you they are all criminals cause they broke the first law, you have to be a citizen to come and live here...so it doesnt matter if the come to work or deal drugs), but we get mad when whe have to do this very same thing for Americans. We want to up grade refuge, or POW camps or prisons but our own people (not minorities, I mean American people) we try to down grade their living conditions as much as possible, how dare we!! America out sources a job to India, but wont change the law to keep the jobs here, and wonder why most cant pay for their homes, provide food, etc....because we are so quick to help someone else, and f ourselves, we need to get it together America...somebody listen please!!!!

But when you are always faced with racsim first, then if you don't have all what a rich school has then you are looked over in the job market, so the poor in America aren't starving but are so quick to be looked over for the most basic of jobs, they rather give them to a Mexican National than to a young American man at the same rate (dont you believe all these illegal Mexicans are working for less than minimum wage, most construction sites will take them no skills and starting at $14.00 and hour, were as an American with the low skill level he will want to start at $8.00...go figure). This was one black man as well, so don't go coloring yourselves impress how do you know if the other men in his neighborhood aren't thugs? I wonder why whites are so easy to compare American Blacks and Africans, and put the Africans so high, when they dont have to deal with the hatred from you as we do, from your ancestors stealing mine so long ago, you hate us because we are Americans, and wont go back to Africa, but when a Africn comes here you open your arms with praise, how dare you, and you should think about that the next time you say most blacks are lazy. Jul 6th 2009 11:42AM Like the mags. will tell you that most people or men desire tall and skinny women and in real life you see the medium sized woman of any race being addored in real life by men, not the boney skinny woman, nor the super fat woman, it's the mid size women that men go gaga over in most races. Tyra Banks, Hallie Berry, Nia Long, etc. are the women black men mostly like, and none of them would be considered extremely fat nor skinny, and their heights have a broad range. It goes that way for other races too, look at who men go for in your race: Like look at Jessica Simpson (before all the weight gain, her natual self) she is not super fat or super thin, and the men love her. It's balance and it's loving who you are.

Jul 6th 2009 11:37AM See that's the problem, you started the article with the main problem today, do we think other people's opinion or bodies have a complete impact on how we monitor or think of ourselves. Just because you see someone doesn't mean you have to break your neck trying to be just like that person. You should have more self respect, and more self esteem (people who have self esteem base their opinion on who they can be, and how great they can be with their own abilities being the only factor) to make these hard life decisions on who and what you want to be. If you are constantly looking for someone else to tell you who you are to be you will always have a problem, you will never be complete. I was a black girl with a small butt, but I didn't hate mayself because my race says that not attractive, I learned this is the way I am, and try to stay off of drugs, etc. So many young girls feel like they have to turn into these people that they see and do so much harm to themselves, young men do it as well but not as much as women. Before you go out into the world love yourself with a tight grip and you should be ok, your bodies image is just that an image, all people think differently so no one has the right answer, just stay healthy, and love yourself, and twerk your body portions in good reason, not some odd attempt to please the media or others.

Jul 6th 2009 11:25AM I think this was a good thing, to bring star struck people down to earth. A lot of adults or adults that allow their kids to look up to these people for a moral guide needed to see more of these Ball players and movie stars come out in scandal. I don't think he deserved to die, but a scandal makes these larger than life figures real, as they need to be before people start to worship them for their sports, music, movie roles, etc. We all need to get real, we are all good at something, but just because someone gets paid a lot of money doesn't mean they are a great person. I love to see the O.J.'s, the Kobe, and drug cases, gang violence, drunk driving cases against these men. Sadly too many young boys think these men are perfect, and there is no such thing, hell these men aren't even decent. It teachs a child to look deeper before you start picking your hero, and an adult as well. People hate themselves for not being like the stars, getting plastic surgery, changing who they are, getting into drugs, etc. when they can just see that the star is not perfect, and just may be good at what you see them do, and can fail in many other place in life just like you and I.
On another note: I'm sorry for his children and family loss.

Is your self esteem that low that you have build up this hate for people who happen to be smaller than you. I was thin at one time and didn't do drugs, AND NOW THAT I'M FAT STILL DON'T WANT TO DO DRUGS! Drugs are bad for anyone. But if being fat makes you hate people then you need to loose your fat a** some weight because you sound just a sorry as the comic Mo'Nique, it's just sad to see these talented fat women give big girls a bad name. He didnt need kids, he need a mental hospital once he started these surgeries, only a nut would want to look like that, but I guess some nuts can make more friends than people fearing what is in their twisted minds. All of the adult in the kids life should be taken away, even MJ's parents, all of them let this BS go on so long, twisting up these kids, and no money or fame should allow you to do this.
