Sep 15th 2010 3:56AM I suppose that leagally she was permitted in that locker room but she had no more business being there than a male reporter would have in a female locker room. If she insists on intruding where males will be running around in all states of dress, or undress, she'll ned to be ready to be treated as though she were "one of the boy's"!! There ARE places that members of the opposite sex should not be and for the ost part are not welcome and a locker room would be one of those places. If it continues I think I'll go get some press credentials [NOT at all a problem] and start legally invading female locker rooms!!

A warrant should be issued for her arrest as son as she's late reporting to begin serving her sentence and she should be made to serve EVERY DAY of the sentence and two extra days for every day that she is late beginning it. While we're at it let's let her lawyer, who most certainly advised this action, serve as her cell mate every day that she's there!!

A lot was left unsaid in my previous post. It was left unsaid for brevity NOT to give you a platform to vent your mistaken views about what I did or what you think I should have done. All was done according to DMV laws in effect at the time and still, because the person who bought the car at auction never titled or registered it I was on record as the last titled owner. It wasn't necessary for me to track down any so-called "ownership route", all I needed to track down was the charity that I donated it too. And you're right, the plates and insurance were never cancelled, they were transferred to the car that I bought to replace the one that I donated, again all according to all laws in effect at the time. Still, as last owner of record, I was the one that the NYC Parking Violations Bureau went after rather than follow up on the "ownership route" themselves.
I won't be responding to any additional posts that you may make, it's not worth my time to respond to someone like you who, with obviously limited intellect, will be posting only rants and raves, not well thought out reply's. Stop assuming so much and PLEASE, find the time to take a very long walk off of a very short pier.

Nov 20th 2009 6:57AM I donated a car once to a different, but similar, charity. About six months later I received a summons from a New York city court telling me that as the last registered owner of this vehicle I owed them almost $700.00 for towing and storage after this vehicle was towed from the street for a parking violation.
It turns out that it was sold at auction by the charity involved and the purchaser never registered it but put illigal license plates on it and ran it around New York City until it died then just abandoned it. Since I was on record as the last owner I was the one they came after and I almost lost my drivers license for failure to pay the fine. I WAS able to straighten it out by contacting the charity involved and telling them that they would never receive another donation from me and that I would use all means available to me, including the internet, to alert others about the situation and hopefully others would follow my lead and not donate either. They contacted the New York City court and got it straightened out but for me, never again. If I have cars to dispose of I'll sell them or junk them but never donate them.

Move over Dunkin' D's! There's a Kolache Mama in town {WalletPop}

Sep 27th 2009 2:45AM I stopped going to the local Dunkin Donut's a long time ago. Years ago the donut's were made in store and were fresh every four hours or so. Now, all of the DD's in this area get their baked goods from a centralized bakery and they're delivered to each store once ever day or so. Bottom line, ..... getting a fresh donut is almost impossible. Many of the help in this store can't, or won't, speak English and Micky D's has better coffee. The local DD has become a hangout for a lot of young people who aren't buying anything but have the parking lot filled up so that in order to get to the DD you have to park quite a distance from the store and walk through hoards of young people just hanging out. The local cops say there's nothing they can do about it and the store owners say it's up tpo the cops to correct it. SO, the coffee is better elsewhere, the donuts are fresher at the bakery in the locak supermarket, the service at the local DD sucks and the parking lot is loaded with non patrons, My guess, the local DD will become history very soon. Thanks but no thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere as so many others that I know in this area are already doing.
