Dec 29th 2009 2:36PM RJW- is it safe to assume you provide your own security and and fire protection? Businesses should pay taxes... when CEOs bring in multi-millions of unearned money why should the city and state not reap the benefits as well? GREED, sir is what drives those businesses out.

I live in a more conservative state and a major corp is still moving its headquarters because of Greed and Snobbery. Since when is NY or Chi-town or any other major metro the only place for business??? Since status is more important than quality.

Dec 23rd 2009 11:00PM I am a white person. My family came here as immigrants from Italy and Ireland. I'm sorry for all those that keep making dumb comment regarding the stats for non-caucasions in prison. It is lopsided because white systematically pushed blacks into poorer neighborhoods and oppressed them for too long. The justice system still will prosecute a black before a white. So stop buying your conservative propaganda.

My ancestors didn't oppress Native Americans or blacks, but I'm still ashamed of how they were treated. The ignorance and hate on here is crazy. To everyone that made a dumb hateful comment regarding a person of color, regardless of race... I hope karm comes for you.

And the one that mentioned Christians... yeah, forcing natives to learn your religion to bolster the ranks isn't helping, it is enslaving and brainwashing.

Nov 7th 2009 11:27PM Actually... the Dixie Chicks went on to sell a multi-platnum album. All they did was say they were ashamed of President Bush and guess what... we should have been. He was a lousy president. We haven't had a good president since Kennedy. Reagan was liar and gave arms to our enemies. Bush senior actually could have been a better president if he had 4 more years, but he stunk of Reagan too much. Clinton actually started the BS that opened the door for GW to ignore our rights listen in on our private conversations not to mentoin Clinton's degeulation of the mortgage business weakened us, but then Bush, who could of put a stop to it, did nothing.

Kennedy, democrat, asked us to serve our country. He wasn't about hand outs like our current democrats. And I can say something good about Reagan. He played a huge part in ending the cold war. For that he will always be remembered as one of the greats. He will have a legacy. I will always think highly of him for that despite his deal with Iran and the Contra.

GW and Clinton... they've weakened and damaged our country and split us rather than unite us.

Oct 13th 2009 4:37PM Studio 60 was a great show... more intelligent and funnier than 30 rock. The problem is the average TV viewer is a moron. They are Dane Cook fans who have seen every Will Ferell movie.

I'm actually not hacking on 30 Rock, it is a good show, but emmy winning? Take Baldwin out and the show is flop.

It is his job to rib and make fun of Politicians... if you like them, you are entitled to that opinion, but you are also sheep. Oct 7th 2009 10:03AM I'll never become vegitarian, but I will be much more selective where I purchase my food. We have farmer's markets here regularly and a few local grocers that do not use the big company's products. It is slightly more expensive, but the return is well worth it.

I understand why people become vegitarian, but there isn't a vegitable in the world that tastes as good as a steak or a burger. That being said, I do support efforts to regulate the meat processors forcing better food safety and more humane treatment of the animals. I'm willing to pay more. I definitely do not eat eggs bought in any old grocery store. I prefer local or free range.
