As a U.S. Veteran I understand clearly why individuals
{ Including Myself } and businesses choose to fly our national Flag even though we are not compelled by the government to do so. . . . There are more peoples and nations around the world who today have freedom and democracy instead of living under tyrannical dictatorships because of what America has contributed to the entire World than what any other nation has ever done in world history. . . . Americans have many reasons to be proud to be Americans !!!
Any pessimist can sit around all day long and nit-pick ANYTHING and find all the faults that are there. . . . A positive mind set is required to look into the history of America and find reasons to be proud and to imagine forward into our future to see what our possibilities are and how important WE are to the entire world. . . . I suggest that you stop being part of our problems and learn to be a part of the solutions to our problems, . . That is, . . Unless you have no personal faults !!!

However, I believe that John McCain gave her too much credit when he tapped her for his V.P. running mate. . . It takes a great deal more than having a magnetic personality to be a good President ! . . We're already learning that lesson with Obama, . . We won't need a 2nd course to learn it all over again !!! . . . Sarah is just not Presidential material. . . If she was I'd vote for her !!! . . . Neither is Barack Obama and I didn't vote for him !!! . . . We need a President who will get back to the basics of what it means to be AMERICAN, . . Not a publicity hound who's only interested in his own benefits and gains. . . My goodness, . . He wrote two books before he ever got his first real JOB, . . ABOUT HIMSELF !!! . . . That should tell you something about where his interests lie and where he exerts the majority of his energies. . . .

HEY AMERICANS, . . !!! . . Let's all try to look past the outward appearance and into the heart and mind of the Candidates who run for Political Offices. . . For example, . . . If you look at the pictures of the first thirty Presidents, . . They weren't the most handsome, attractive people but they were Masculine, Intelligent men of High Character who were well versed on what America is and Stands for and their intention was to PROTECT AND DEFEND THAT, . . NOT TO RE-MAKE IT IN THEIR OWN IMAGE !!! . . .

Our President SHOULD be the ultimate good employee !!! . . One who learns what the Company policies are and what the mission is and work for THAT, . . Not spend all day every day trying to CHANGE IT !!! . . Someone like that needs to be FIRED so they will have time to go out and START THEIR OWN BUSINESS the way they want it to be. . . . GET IT ???

Oct 28th 2009 12:57PM I suspect that G-MAC is making loans to any warm body who walks into a GM dealership and wants a vehicle !!! . . . Isn't that the attitude that ended in collapse of the U.S. Housing Market ? . . . ANYTHING which has been taken over by the Government needs to be scrutinized more than privately owned and operated businesses ! . . . Especially when the Government has chosen to pour BILLIONS of dollars into businesses, take them over, . . and then COMPETE with other existing businesses which have played by the rules and been successful while operating within the FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM !!! . . . When you remove the element of FAIR COMPETITION you have diluted and spoiled Free Enterprise by giving Government Entities the EDGE because they don't seem to be concerned about expenditures for advertising, salaries or PROFITS other than making a GOOD SHOWING. . . . Well, . . Hell, . . Anybody who's dealing with FREE MONEY can knock out the competition and sure as heck ought to be able to make a GOOD SHOWING without having infusions of more and more BILLIONS of FREE MONEY !!! . . . It's real clear to me that Our Current Government has absolutely NO UNDERSTANDING of the Free Enterprise System or Government in a FREE REPUBLIC !!! . . .

Just to SEE if it REALLY can live up to their wild claims, . . Which most times it cannot !!! . . . Then we turn right around and do it all over again as soon as they stick a new miracle product in front of our faces ! . . .

It used to be that the average Citizen knew about and understood how "FREE ENTERPRISE" really works. . . Today's Americans think it's a SIN for a privately owned business to earn a PROFIT !!! . . . They say, . . "Why, how dare them to make me pay them more for this car than they paid the factory for it" !!! . . . And it's the same for every other product and that's part of the problem which has sent most of our manufacturing corporations off shore and into foriegn lands. . . I don't even know if there's a course of study in our public schools which includes information on HOW BUSINESS WORKS and WHY. . .
WE, . . THE CONSUMER are the one's who regulate the prosperity or failure of products, services and business in America. . . Our willingness to BUY or NOT to buy is what tells the REST OF THE STORY !!! . . .
