Apr 11th 2011 1:39PM I saw this draw coming and I'm actually surprised the commentators didn't. I hate takedowns that do nothing BUT they still count and three takedowns vs zero will win you a round. Gegard didn't land nearly as many punches (in the first round) as they make it seem. With the point deduction that's a 10-8 for Jardine. The other two rounds most definitely went to Gegard 10-9, 10-9. 28-28.

Mar 4th 2011 8:19AM The judges screwed up again. Martin clearly won the first and second rounds. You could argue the third for diego with the one takedown (after how many tries?) but Martin got right back up and eve nwith a broken hand was still able to keep tagging him with his left. He won because of his heart? Seriously? If thats the case then the ending to Rocky would have been a lot different.

Feb 28th 2011 8:46AM I was really looking forward to a BJ win. I agree with the draw as Fitch clearly won the third but lost the first two. What bothers me is that Fitch either A - didn't want to go for the finish and was content at just grinding out another decision or B - couldn't go for the finish. Whatever the reason may be it doesn't look good for him. Who the hell gets a title shot after a draw? You didn't train takedown defense? You're a damn mma fighter with a wrestling background! That's like saying you didn't train striking defense. Damn BJ with his mediocre S & C training. That nickname might be worse the "TwinkleToes". How about Nick "the One" Ring or Nick "King of the" Ring or Nick "pinky" Ring or Nick "I was very disappointed when my leg blew out" Ring. That comment about Sotiropolous never being in title contention again is a bit drastic I think. So he needs to work on actually being able to take someone down and his striking, not impossible. Very excited for UFC 128; but why hasn't anyone told Rua that he's supposed to have two eyebrows?
