He's a child, beginning to exercise his rights. The teacher was out of line trying to force him to recite the pledge. Her job was to keep control of the classroom and to educate the students. This could have been a teachable moment. Well, I guess it was. Just look at what was taught: exercise your constitutional rights and pay the price. That teacher and the principal should apologize to all of us.
